u damn good!!! dont give a damn on ppl saying ur playing is not Cray's style coz u already got a cool one!! And im glad to know that i could get the sound like that from Cray's signature as well.. u rock!!
LOL love the comments from people who cant read he is playing a Robert Cray not playing like him. He is pretty dam good I wish bashers would post a video reply most probly cant even play.
Outstanding demo, love the fingerwork and the tone and just picked up a Robert Cray. Looking for a Jimmie Vaughan, and Jeff Beck model, alrady have a Clapton,Guy, Mayer and Johnson., 57 and 62 vintage
Standing while playing helps stay away from being engulfed by one's playin'
your body is music/electric, gotta let the energy flow. That just my hippie-loser comment for the day. I like 'feeling over fast' anyday, and u got feelin' buddy, I wouldn't waste my time on all those fast licks.
is use when you have the pick in your had have your thumb a little close to the edge of the pick then bend up and make sure your thumb touches the string also while you are bending up :)
comparable but not the same as, i find the texas specials arent as nice as the custom wound rc's but as far as i can find i cant buy the rc's from fender.please tell me i am wrong i want a set for my amer std =D
Go the the Fender website "Nspade13" and look up "Custom Shop Guitars". You'll quite a few artist-specific guitars there. Most of them are in the $3000 dollar range I'd say. But you can still get a standard intro Fender for like $600 dollar though, and they sound pretty good too.

Did you just improv and then add a backing track after the fact? you hardley were playing with any groove, just note after note after note. Dont get me wrong, i have a lot of friends who are note hounds and it is a skill, but seems like you didnt even enjoy yourself.
I just got a used 2008 Cust Shop and put on new strings because the one on it snaped. I cant keep the guitar in tune????? Im afriad to call Metal Shop Guitars and tell them. They said send it back if you dont like it when I asked about the guitars origions. (sure if they pay shipping) I feel like they'd bite my head off.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure. the screen on the front of it looks exactly like the orange amps. (plus it's orange) I don't know of another amp that's orange. (although you could be right) I just thought since he's a musician, that that's probably a orange amp.
i think you misunderstand me here. he is using an orange amp. its just that that is the cabinet for their half stack amp, and i dont see a head for it anywhere. yes it definately is an orange. positive it is. definately the most legendary tone around.
62 strat are my paborito but whene i saw the guitar on the crossroad wen he play times makes two, and i think twice 62 or R.Cray signature guitar they both kick my Ass!!!!!!
Idk why im honestly stating my opinion cause i do realize hes demoing a Robert Cray signature strat and the pickups are made to sound like that but if it were my own guitar the pickups would be so hot.
Are you using a Backing track to this, it sounds to me like something from Deep Purple, I know I 've heard it before but can't place where.
You play it really well, inspiration for me to carry on learning the guitar, but at 44, I think it will be my next lifetime before I get this good, lol.
