I like to think that this scene shows what happened to others who made the mistake she has. I like to think they fell for him at some point in the maze, and they're all gathered there--where they all fawn over the Goblin King, and they become so warped that they all praise him and celebrate him, and they are doomed to party for eternity. :D

I'm not a huge fan of this movie, but I'd watch it over and over again just for this scene.

I love his expression but also hers. To me she seems lost in feelings she's not even aware of. And yet she remembers her true reason for being there and pushes those unknown feelings aside.

Though some might perceive this scene as Jareth trying to trick Sarah into forgetting about Toby, I think it is more than that. Yes, he does want Toby to become a goblin, but I think Jareth actually has feelings for Sarah and wants her to stay with him forever. Thats why he truly looks sad or confused when she realizes she has to save Toby. It is a beautiful song. It entrances me.
