@Chaehyeonshi No, the bottle doesn't change size at all. All i know is the difference in the pressure inside and outside the glass causes the egg to be suctioned in. When he blows into the glass, he raises the pressure inside, pushing the egg out kind of like those toy cork pop-guns.
@Chaehyeonshi no the fire heats up the air in the bottle, and when the fire goes out the air cools, and there is less pressure in the bottle than out side, so the egg gets pushed in by the air.
Steve, watching this got me curious. Have you ever tried to put a bottle with an egg inside it on top of a bottle (with the burning wick) without an egg. Will it push the egg from the top bottle into the bottom one? Will nothing happen? What's the science behind that?
