Very typical of the original music on this album and the tasty arrangements. And Lola Albright's talent and allure. I've been listening to this album 50 years and love it as much as the first time I heard it.

I thought this sounded familiar!! They added Lyrics to "A Session at Pete's Pad" from the Peter Gunn album and re-titled it "Straight to Baby" for Lola. I love it!

I remember watching both Peter Gunn and Mr. Lucky on TV every night when they were on when I was in Junior High. Those men were someone we youngsters looked up to. And as for Lola...I Was in love (and very jealous of Peter!)

You should hear the lyrics for the actual theme from Peter Gunn! I believe Sarah Vaughn(?) does a swingin' rendition of it...it's got to be somewhere on the tube.
