The reason Chinese farmers farm wow is because there is 100% profit to be made by herbing mining etc. In diablo u will have to run a difficult random time consuming dungeon in order to get a chance at a rare item. Chinese farmers will stick to other games ;). To much of a gamble in diablo 3.

@Ironbeavz It's very easy to control the market by buying every high value items on the market, and then sell them with 10 to 20% higher. Don't forget we're talking about a TEAM of dedicated farmers that does this full time 24/7. It also happens in the WoW auction house, when its not just simply herbs and mines, but almost every key ingredients that's on the market are being controlled by them. I don't think any individual would be able to compete with them unless the want to drop tons of cash.

Anyway like SC 2 , they said it`s possible to play it online only yet the very day it was released the game was cracked and you could play it alone at home. The same thing will happen with D3 - RELOADED will give a crack so you can play it solo at home, so you can say FUU to RMT or Real Item Trade. Gg

In SC 2 - you can play the campaign offline. D3, there's no offline aspect of the game. Once D3's cracked, you will still need the internet to play it, just like WoW. Molten WoW, anyone?

D3 is starting out fresh with closed region (i.e. European players play in their own closed region, and Asia players or farmers play in their own CLOSED region). WoW first started out with no closed regions.The regions were opened to players from all around the world, Chinese and Korean farmers included. When these farmers farm gold on steroid, it's no wonder the gold in WoW is inflated. WoW's gold recycling system couldn't keep up with them. SAD.

@jbbroman If its a 10% fee, its nothing different then WOW, only changing currency. If you sell an item for $2.00, and its a 10% fee, you get $1.80. How is that bad? Are you bitching because u lost a few cents, yes, it can add up, but fact is, they didnt have to do this period. Its better to get 90% of something, then 100% of nothing. Sorry but i think this is amazing feature, i wont be buying items, but ill sure be selling em.
