i have a question about the hi hat part... i can't seem to figure it out, as you bring in the different parts at about 0:30 ... the hi hat is coming in constant 8th notes, then you add in another hi hat which gives it a really cool live drummer feel... and moves it along way better... how did you do that? thanks. i love this remix.

@ellevatordisco basically, I took the original drum part which only has a 8th note high hat. I looped that throughout.. I then added my own 16th note high hat (and reinforced beat) under it. It has a heavy swing, which is what makes this song groove well. Swing is often overlooked.

@Tsuekasa No prob! I'm glad you dig them. I either use Auto-Filter in Ableton, or run it through an analog synth. Depends..

@mosaic34 Thanks! I didn't sample daft punk. The bassline is somewhat in the same style.. but I played it all. The piano is from the original track.
