I drive an 07 Labrie SWEET!!! truck. I use to swear by the Amreps, but not no more this is a BAD ASSS truck. This truck works good in culdesacks. I just wish they made a full body eject, rather than the dump version.
@wicked2740 Yeah these are really smooth. Thanks for the comment! Where is it that you work, and for what company? I'd love to see vids of your truck at work if you could do that one day.
Jesus christ those fingers are enormous! Definitely bigger than the ones we have, the only time they cross over like that is when you're grabbing a 35 or someones Rubbermaid can or something.
The hopper cam is great! I didn't mention this in my comment earlier but in Australia the trucks are continuous compaction so they don't really need a crusher pannel. Great idea but a paddle packer or a pendulum packer are better.
Yeah that one is also quite similar. (But this guy's an 'Amreican version of the Aussie trucks' haha). There actually is an American side loader with a Pendulum packer system...check out user: Shadofax96 's videos every once in a while and pretty soon he'll have a video of some. These are called 'Pendpacs' (if you haven't heard of them). btw, thanks for the comments!!
Yeah I have heard of the Pendpacks. In Australia the Superior Pak's have pendulum Packers like the Pendpacks, but the Superior Pak's have been around a bit longer. But the Labrie Automizer Right Hand is a nice truck, but it would be better with continuous compaction. The Pendpack is nice to but I prefer the Amrep a bit more than it.
This truck is good. But definitely no where near as good as a real Australian truck like a Macdonald Johnston, a Compaction Systems or a Superior Pak. But nice vid.
In what neighbhoorhoods are they using them? Mississauga has a quite a few Expert 2000s and newer Co-Mingle (60/40) Expert 2000s. But, we've got so many dam dual and single compartment Rear Loaders it's not even funny.
Dam that`s a good 90 minutes away from me by taking the TTC and Mississauga Transit. Oh well I`ll stick to watching Mississauga Waste Management`s MSL Expert 2000s doing the yard waste and the MSL Expert 2000 Co-Mingles doing the organics and recycling.

@KFCOrBust haha that was probably the only reason they had them on, just to demo that ability...maybe.

I think the Leach Crocodile is the closest American truck to an Australian truck.

Me too I think the way the Amrep arm is designed makes it a little better than the Pendpac.

Wow! I am stunned that truck could pick up cans from across the street! That crusher panel in the hopper area is also a pretty good idea!
