In the right circumstances shots up to about 1000 meters (in BF2) is possibile.

I take out the m95 when I know theres gunna be a lot of choppers around, takes out the pilots nicely.

no thats not true. Aim a little ahead of the cockpit about where the pilot's head will be. you will get him probably 1 out of 15 times.

BF2 Maps aren't large enough for alot of drop. In ArmA you have to aim BELOW the target because w/ a M107 because the scope is zeroed in at 500m. Now try hitting a man at 2000m. That is so bullet drop =P.

M95 has NO bullet time ebcause of bullet veolcity and their IS a bullet drop, at 500 meters you have to raise you gun sight 8 pixels in order to hit the target.

its battlefield 1.3 and not project reality, since 1.4 the bullet drop is not as hard as in this vid anymore, but 1.4 still has a bullet drop!

Well, I'm looking on for a video on youtube which shows how you can get headshot from longer distances with the M95 or whatever the big gun is. This wasnt it. Your website is helpful though. Can you show us how to actually adjust the aim for bullet drop?

FFS! How can you make a sniper tutorial when you obviously have no idea how the freaking rifle works? Tell me one reason why you did not hold down the fire button to show the actual shot? D'oh! Besides, there's no difference in the bullet drop. The difference is in the aligment of the sights.

And what's this BS of not having bulletdrop after 1.4? That's just load of crap! There still is bullet drop. Just like there allways has been. Ask any sniper.

I have to say that I was missing a lot of my headshots after 1.4 because it seemed as if bullet drop was no longer a factor. :( I'm not sure if this is true or not, but it seems like it is.

Yes, there is a bulletdrop in BF2.. On distance shots 300-400 meters you have to aim 3-4 pixels above your target to get the headshot.

Nice, finally a sniper who uses the rifle properly. I like what you did by showing distances. And yes there is bullet drop, although many seem to think that there is not. My reply to them usually is, "your just not shooting far enough away!" 400 meters is the cut off for personel draw distance, so shoot at this range! check out my video "the long shot"
