@xMika03 I don't understand how someone could glue a face to another face but Jennifer Lopez got the the part because she looked so much like Selena so much. No physical changes were done to her except some makeup.
@MaryLouMulero24 no i think she got the part because she was the best for the role as an actress! the reson she looks like selena is cuz they had proffesinal hair and makeup people and makeup people are artists , with a blank canvase they can do magic , so she got it cuz of her acting and dancing talent not cuz of the resemblence cuz ive seen people who look more like selena and dint get the part , they couldnt act though.

Saw this movie 5 times when it came out 11 years ago! Loved the raw talent and natural beauty of Jennifer Lopez at the time along with the heart and talent behind the filmmaking! From a Filmmaking perspective, this scene still holds to be a favorite of mine, love when the camera shows the reaction from the characters in the studio, very well done!
