I also want to be 100% clear on another point so many have wrong. I want gays to have every right as anyone else. I mean, military, civilian and so on. Visitation rights at a hospital, I do mean everything. Let's now talk about marriage. I keep hearing this called a right. It is NOT a right, it is like a driver's license. It is a priviledge. I also said I want gays to have all the rights of everyone else. I am not against people being gay I am against the gay agenda that is causing so many problems for everyone else and trying to take over the governemnt in places. Marriage is all about procreation, that defines it between a man and woman. It is a privledge, like it or not, it is NOT a right. There is nothing that you would find in the constitution that declares marriage a RIGHT. It is left to the states to decide. They have decided. Gay marriage is OUT! You can't marry your close relatives, in some states blood tests are required for a reason. People should not be having sex if they have certain diseases and marriage assumes you will be having sex.
Your argument that marriage is only about procreation maybe so for you. Marriage has a wide variety of usages; wealth, LOVE, etc. not just about having sex. If you want to talk about just creating offspring than that is more survival of a species than marriage. What about men that impregnate multiple partners? 1 Corinthians 14:34 is not a commandment nor is it from God, it was a human being speaking this. Visitation rights at a hospital, I do mean everything. Let's now talk about marriage. I keep hearing this called a right. It is NOT a right, it is like a driver's license. It is a priviledge. Marriage is all about procreation, that defines it between a man and woman. It is a privledge, like it or not, it is NOT a right. There is nothing that you would find in the constitution that declares marriage a RIGHT. It is left to the states to decide. They have decided. Gay marriage is OUT! You can't marry your close relatives, in some states blood tests are required for a reason. People should not be having sex if they have certain diseases and marriage assumes you will be having sex.

The Bible also condones slavery (Leviticus 25:44-46), refers to women as property (Exodus 20:17), calls women impure (Job 14:1-4), requires rape victims to marry their rapist (Deutoronomy 22:28), prohibits restrictions on illegal immigrants (Leviticus 19:33-34), prohibits women from speaking in church (1 Corinthians 14:34), says that kids who talk back should be killed (Leviticus 20:9), forbids men from shaving (Leviticus 19:27), and says you can't wear cotton/poly blends (Leviticus 19:19).

Exodus 20:17 does not refer to women as property, read it again. Job 14:1-4 talks about a man being "born in sin" and the short life that we have is full of trouble, and that we must be born again.
Deuteronomy 22:23 talks about a man that has sex with a virgin woman is entebted to marry that woman and pay the father because he broke her seal. Leviticus 19:33-34 says not to cast anyone out of the land because no one cast them out of Egypt when they needed to live elsewhere.

We must be reading different version of the Bible, because Exodus 20:17 says explicitly that women belong to their husbands. Job 14:1-4 is referring to the established Jewish tradition that women are considered impure after giving birth.

I'm reading the King James the first and most accurate translation. Science is not perfect therefore I would never trust 100% in it, they've still yet to find a cure for AIDS and cancer. 1 Corinthians 14:34 is not a commandment nor is it from God, it was a human being speaking this. Leviticus 20:9 does not say they should be killed (as a human killing them), it says thew will be put to death, thats from God all this stuff in Leviticus are things that will shorten your life. Leviticus 19:19 These are all under the mosaic laws and Jesus already followed these commandments to be an acceptable sacrifice for our sins. Some remained in effect while others didn't afterwards.
