  • wtf? I thought Onmyouza was a metal band with a female singer...this is just shite disguised as music.

  • Mononofu Rule

  • Mononofu Rule

  • @Hardgaymachineguns Hey everyone! Look at this bitch trying to convince us he's hardcore! How fucking hilarious is that? Point and laugh, he needs the feedback.

  • i agree..and j pop/k pop is way better then european or american crap pop music..i never liked pop untill i listend to japanese pop the first time..j pop is great.(k pop too)

  • More music like this

  • thank you for this great song! 5*

  • Nice song.

  • Uhmm Que les paso? =/ no suena tan metal como lo son...

    Pero = me encantan ^^

  • very pop punk, more pop tho, not metal

  • Tu chantes très bien que les sons très .. C'est fou comme la musique.

  • xD that shit its not metal fucking pop alternative music sucks ... xD even crossfaith sounds more metal ... xD !! fucking lool !! ... that shit song ... sonds like a anime sucks song !!

  • this is metal?

  • @Assinicrow This song technically isn't but the band is, go listen to some of the other songs that they sing, like this one: /watch?v=4_uTeKlJmoA

And this song sounds like an anime opening, which is okay in a way 'cause I like anime and anime openings^-^

  • I actually like this song even if it aint metal, its pretty upbeat it makes me happy

  • Visualkei = stylish kids band

    for instance... EMO

  • did I mention visual kei? don't be an idiot, plus deluhi is visual kei and they are pretty damn good, same whit versailles and x japan and matenrou opera

  • I completely agree with gabi326jik. All previously mentionned visual kei bands are pure musical greatness. People can like their clothing style or not (personaly, I find it a bit strange probably just because I'm not so used to it but I find it cool. Just look at the Versailles costumes. They are so well perfected.) but as for their music, it's undeniable how talented they are.

  • @gabi326jjk: Agreed. I think that all the Visual Kei bands I've heard so far are superior players over most American bands these days and have no problem showing off their playing ability. The Japanese seem to not be as affected by the "dumb down your chops and 'play for the song' " mentality that plagues the American mainstream. Playing for the song doesn't always mean not playing at all.

  • naa actually dude I was dumb when I said that, american mainstream music sucks but so does Japanese mainstream, the metal in america and Europe are usually pretty damn good, allot more cool European bands then their are cool Japanese bands.... and 98% of vk is horrible

  • is this visual kei? I've never heard of that genre so please excuse me.... I was looking for metal when i ran into this lol

  • yes and no.. the look is but the music dosn `t suck so in a music sense its not

  • it heavy pop

    Japanese metal top 3

    1-Loudness

    2-Seikima II

    3-Mononofu

    sex machineguns are comedy metal

  • yeah but sex machineguns gat some cool stuff nevertheless

  • Loudness and Mononofu...

    ehrrrr!!!

    love them...

  • Onmyoza does different stuff all the time, sometimes they play thrash, sometimes speed, sometimes NWOBHM, ballads and yes, even sweet melodic songs like this. The good thing? They always keep a level of quality on everything they do.

  • mmmm nooooo I don't like it.... onmyouza = metal.... this song is just something different...

  • this song would sounds good for a anime show

  • This doesn't sound metal to me, lol But it still sounds nice :) Sounds really familiar... but from what? =\

  • Awesome Song... hery are my favorite with GALNERYUS and SEX MACHINEGUNS and ANIMETAL

  • this is just one of their pop-ish kind of track....check the video responses for more hard edge :p

  • o really gotta check it out

  • ooooh, so happy they did a song like this. i always wondered how the voices would sound to this kind of music. thanks for posting!!!!

  • maximum the hormone is metal, not this!

  • at least this song came from a metal band...look at the video response :p

  • yes, you are right >_>

  • @dusteater lmfao maximum the hormone is wannabe tear your vocals up garbage metal. They are so weak and new metal horny =\

  • @Trezveil wtf dawg Maximum the Hormone is fuckin punk metal why would you compare punk based music to a metal based band?

  • CWOT

  • Onmyouza are definitely metal, but they are Japanese and pop in Japan is big, and isn't the same as in the west. I mean, look at Marty Friedman, total metal head listens to Ayumi Hamasaki. Pop just has a more accepted view with more of the population than here. I mean, if you're a metal head here in America and listen to pop, you're a poseur. But in Japan, it's not the same. That's why these guys have songs like this and Maiagaru

  • well pop is alot diferent from america, cause it hasnt the same beat, and actually has good instrumentals and solos, wich even most nowadays american rock bands lack

  • this aint very metal...it sounds more pop punk

  • Um, this is sooo not metal... WTH? Metal my ass... I'll try another track but next time don't put metal for this song xD

  • i put metal because this track comes from a metal band...Simply as that :D

  • OHHH~~~ Okay =)

I haven't looked at another song yet... Any 'metal' sounding song that's good I should listen to? lol 'cause I'm sure they can sound harder, 'cause(I mean) their name sounds badass xD

  • Look at the video response...It was from the same album

  • ARE BETTER

  • man these guys suck ass and this is not metal its fucking watered down punk... no fuck that this shit is pop im looking for a jap METAL band i heard a couple weeks back if any1 has any GOOD suggestions 'actual metal' plz help out

  • Try listen to their other songs though..this one just one of their easy listening tracks.

For power or progressive Metal...you can try Concerto Moon and Galneryus.

  • DIR EN GREY!

  • ZOMBOID not a bad song

  • does anyone know where did the search for "Onmyouza GT7" go? I really need the name of that song if anyone knows it

  • wats this band called in english?? cuz i cant read japanese, but i luv their music tho. esp. metal...

  • i dunno either but they called themselves ONMYOUZA ^_^

  • It's actually Onmyoza.

  • Great song!

there most likely useing another Dialect

    NOT "out dated" Japanese.

  • No, it is a rather old Japanese, there are lots of idioms and terms that are not used like that nowadays. I'm learning it myself, so I have a little idea about that, I'm not offending you^^

  • hai some old idioms are used today,

but im sure they use some Rare ones.

I was thinking that because there from Osaka

Osaka dialect.i guess some JP people will also learn from the songs.

im used to hyōjungo But old language is from a form of dialect.

  • Ah, guys! Don't get all "upbeat" on me now!

  • you misunderstanding onmyouza......try listen to their other songs, song on this video is just one of their newer approach on their new album.

  • MCR is crap compared to Onmyouza!! Onmyouza grinds MCR into the ground.

  • would anyone be kind enough to post at least an aproximate translation? i have no idea what he's saying and would really like to know.

  • me too, i am no japanese, i just love onmyouza LOL^_^

    Anybody can do the translating?

  • It's pretty freaking hard to translate Onmyouza's songs because they used extremely outdated Japanese, poetic lyricism, homophones, and a bunch of other stuff. You'd have to be a scholar or a native speaker to have any chance at translating.

  • Wow...did they really used ancient text and literature reference just to wrote lyrics about japan classical age story...coolness at it's best ^_^

  • It's very epic sounding, to say the least. It'd be like...like Judas Priest singing in Shakespearian verse!

  • not metal but it is still sik

  • This is Onmyouza Emo Song!

  • hahaha but still it's nice to hear, i don't know every time i listen to this song it always makes me happy.

IMO Maou is kicking ass a lil bit harder than this song.^_^

  • Yes that wasnt a horrible comment, its just that they do it better and Im sure this song is great live!

  • The song is awesome. Onmyouza's upbeat songs just as amazing as their heavier music.

  • but is not metal, sound like hard rock band.

    anywhere good band.

  • i agree this song is not quite metal material, but hear their other song on my page...it's enough to be classified as a metal song LOL^_^

    Enjoy

  • amazing Matatabi

  • I just discoverd these searching for japanese metal bands, awsome song (Y)

  • Onmyouza ga ii desu ne? Sugoi!

  • This whole song is played with major chords, but it's still great.

  • Great!

  • Totemo Sukidesu!
