@Hardgaymachineguns Hey everyone! Look at this bitch trying to convince us he's hardcore! How fucking hilarious is that? Point and laugh, he needs the feedback.
i agree..and j pop/k pop is way better then european or american crap pop music..i never liked pop untill i listend to japanese pop the first time..j pop is great.(k pop too)
xD that shit its not metal fucking pop alternative music sucks ... xD even crossfaith sounds more metal ... xD !! fucking lool !! ... that shit song ... sonds like a anime sucks song !!
did I mention visual kei? don't be an idiot, plus deluhi is visual kei and they are pretty damn good, same whit versailles and x japan and matenrou opera
I completely agree with gabi326jik. All previously mentionned visual kei bands are pure musical greatness. People can like their clothing style or not (personaly, I find it a bit strange probably just because I'm not so used to it but I find it cool. Just look at the Versailles costumes. They are so well perfected.) but as for their music, it's undeniable how talented they are.
@gabi326jjk: Agreed. I think that all the Visual Kei bands I've heard so far are superior players over most American bands these days and have no problem showing off their playing ability. The Japanese seem to not be as affected by the "dumb down your chops and 'play for the song' " mentality that plagues the American mainstream. Playing for the song doesn't always mean not playing at all.
naa actually dude I was dumb when I said that, american mainstream music sucks but so does Japanese mainstream, the metal in america and Europe are usually pretty damn good, allot more cool European bands then their are cool Japanese bands.... and 98% of vk is horrible
Onmyoza does different stuff all the time, sometimes they play thrash, sometimes speed, sometimes NWOBHM, ballads and yes, even sweet melodic songs like this. The good thing? They always keep a level of quality on everything they do.
Onmyouza are definitely metal, but they are Japanese and pop in Japan is big, and isn't the same as in the west. I mean, look at Marty Friedman, total metal head listens to Ayumi Hamasaki. Pop just has a more accepted view with more of the population than here. I mean, if you're a metal head here in America and listen to pop, you're a poseur. But in Japan, it's not the same. That's why these guys have songs like this and Maiagaru
well pop is alot diferent from america, cause it hasnt the same beat, and actually has good instrumentals and solos, wich even most nowadays american rock bands lack
I haven't looked at another song yet... Any 'metal' sounding song that's good I should listen to? lol 'cause I'm sure they can sound harder, 'cause(I mean) their name sounds badass xD
man these guys suck ass and this is not metal its fucking watered down punk... no fuck that this shit is pop im looking for a jap METAL band i heard a couple weeks back if any1 has any GOOD suggestions 'actual metal' plz help out
No, it is a rather old Japanese, there are lots of idioms and terms that are not used like that nowadays. I'm learning it myself, so I have a little idea about that, I'm not offending you^^
It's pretty freaking hard to translate Onmyouza's songs because they used extremely outdated Japanese, poetic lyricism, homophones, and a bunch of other stuff. You'd have to be a scholar or a native speaker to have any chance at translating.
