He is one of the best singers i have ever heard.. and this such a recent experience for me.. the first song i heard for him was love is a many splendid thing. i also was surprised when i read his date of birth.. kind of like Sinatra in that sense. this song only proves what a great and lasting talent Engelbert is. Just saw him in lancaster PA and he was wonderfull..the voice,the looks,the class are still there. there are no singers today to even begin to compare to Engelbert......

536140, well I happen to think the singer Johnny Mathis rates pretty high myself. He is 71 years old, is very personable in his concerts and still has a very good voice. Look up some of his videos and see what you think.
