I signed up for face book about 5 minutes ago. Then after 5 minutes of trying to figure out how to use it I deactivated it. Because I could not figure out how to use it. Its not very user friendly and it is to complicated to use. You have to be a Master Website builder in order to use the dang thing. I only signed up for it to promote my video's but not on that piece of trash....
I used Facebook extensively and rooted for it, then it started to claim ownership of and arbitrarily censor my content. When I left it threatened that I would no longer be able to keep in touch with my friends; I do not take kindly to threats and lies. Facebook might need us but we don't need Facebook. I deactivated Facebook yesterday and never felt better.
The exact same happened to me today. I was actively using the website then suddenly I was threatened to be deactivated because of complaints of 'using the search too often'. How ridiculous. Facebook is an easy way how to brainwash the masses. Maybe it's only my impression, but it seems to me a significant share of today's youth population uses facebook as their main, if not only, source of information. What's all the Internet, democracy and freedom of speech good for, if so many people follow what's on popular facebook sites or groups only and ignore any other Internet media? Generally, I hate the idea of a "must-use" social networking site, be it facebook or anything else...

I wish I had lived in the 40's and 50's, where people had REAL conversations and everything was not geared towards self-promotion. No wonder people are so unhappy these days. The whole time with a smug look on their face. I'm like, ok, how's it better? It has less shit, you're not supposed to use nicknames, no music, no bulletins you can post videos in, no blog, harder to find people, your business is everyone elses immediately, no layouts. #1 thing I hate: The uncomfortable feelings and insecurities of running into people from your past. An Ex girlfriend/boyfriend, psycho ex best friend, old co workers. Facebook is like a really bad high school reunion every night, who on earth wants to subject themselves to that? It turns grown adults into immature jr. high girls. Facebook is a graveyard of vague past acquaintances, badly ended relationships & people you care very little about. Im glad I closed my account, its a waste of time!

Myspace - Better forums , Better groups, Better respect of a person's privacy, better tech staff that you can actually reach and get a response from. there's more to do on Myspace than looking at a Live Feed on Facebook. Facebook is just boring. People like FB Games? Guess what. They were ALREADY On mypsace. Only problem with myspace is it does not advertise all the good things about it. Look at the top, click on MORE, select FORUMS or GROUPS. They freakin ROCK.

Facebook is absolutely pathetic. Anyone reading this should consider this.
- Deleting an account takes TWO WEEKS. WHY? There is no good reason for this.
- People are fake, judgemental, it encourages online curtain twitching.
- It's the opposite of creativity and intelligent input with everyone's profiles exactly the same. No music, video, writing or art.
- People with 500 to 2000 "friends" whilst they haven't even left education or barely left their own country are MORONS.

It used to be bebo where i am, i jumped abord the bebo band wagon for the sake of seeig if it was any good. It actually was kinda good so i stuck with it. Then people moved to facebook... i really cant be assed with facebook its dull and life sucking. At least bebo had colour and personalisation! This is monotonous to the extreme.

I signed up for face book about 5 minutes ago. Then after 5 minutes of trying to figure out how to use it I deactivated it. Because I could not figure out how to use it. Its not very user friendly and it is to complicated to use. You have to be a Master Website builder in order to use the dang thing. I only signed up for it to promote my video's but not on that piece of trash....

I used Facebook extensively and rooted for it, then it started to claim ownership of and arbitrarily censor my content. When I left it threatened that I would no longer be able to keep in touch with my friends; I do not take kindly to threats and lies. Facebook might need us but we don't need Facebook. I deactivated Facebook yesterday and never felt better.

The exact same happened to me today. I was actively using the website then suddenly I was threatened to be deactivated because of complaints of 'using the search too often'. How ridiculous.
