Dimitri is the better over all diver, Medals, titles, world championships and he has an individual Olympic gold. He's beaten alex individually. I don't think alex has medaled individ on 10m at the olympics just sayin. Oh and if u ask alex who one of his diving idols was growing up, I'd bet he'd say Sautin. Just sayin. U kids prob weren't even diving when sautin got his first medal in Barcelona 1992!

alex is better for sure, dmitri was just alot luckier then alex is, alex has had some mnay injuries he hasnt been able to really bominate the way he could. plus since alex was 19 he has beat dimitri everytime individually

Sautin has got 8 olympic medalls now. 2 of them are gold medalls. Alexandre despatie has got 2 olympic medalls and they are both silver medalls.

well sautin won 34 international titels. The sickest thing for me is that sautin almost died at a knifing when he was 17 and with shortly afterwards he won the russian qualy for the olympic games 1992.

To get back to the start. Dmitry Sautin would have bet alex despatie in athens if he had grabbed his hands right at the last dive. It was a difference 2.5 points in the end of the competition.

youll be amazing at what dives are to come. Russians have done 209c on 10m theres chinese doing 307b and 407b on 3m now. ive seen people do lots of lead ups for 5355 on 3m. ive done 309c double bouncing with a knee buckle lol. those dives will be possible with the up and coming generation of divers.

209c on 10 i can believe as i hav done back double on poolside so i can understand how people can make that, also 07 piked in each direction is achievable. but excuse me for being sceptical but i dont believe, even bouncing that u did 309 on 3m.
