How to set up a double bass pedal

@antfreashx what he has in front of him at the beginning of the vid is how it comes outa the box realy alot easyier to setup than you may think the main thing is to get the spring tension where you like it and if you look at one for like 2 minutes you'll figure out how to do that

@VIZZICKS the pedal in my video is mine, and the only one i got, like u said it was the set up like it came out of the box, havent even done anything else,

@gregrocks66 ok put the spacer bar together and then put the beaters on the main pedal twist it so the beaters are back and it raises the footboard on the main pedal up and attach the end of the spacer bar over the 'nub on the side of the main pedal and then do same on the side of the slave pedal and there you go it's put together may take you a couple of trys to get it right mount on your bass drum and adjust your beaters height to hit in the middleish then adjust spring tension hope helps

the better alternative to this pedal is the tiger pro double bass pedal, if anyones considering buying this, it is designed so things like the bottom ends of the beaters dont stick out etc. much better quality too. not advertising btw i just replaced this one with one.

nice video lol wish i would have seen this before i sat down hours hooking mines up lol ididnt bother to look on youtube dont ask why lol i dont know lol so how many cymbals your hit have ?.. if i was you i would just get a diff double pedal or when you do get your duel chains get smaller beaters that way you can play any type of music smaller beaters are usually for fast pace music like "death metal or heavy" pretty awsome tho..nice video tho

@666starz666 thx for the comment, reason I put this up, my pedal is not even a year yet, I got it christmas of 09, and I had the one problem, I was getting mad with it trying to figure out how to set it up, its a good to have a double pedal, but alot flaws with this one as well, such as the screws comming off to easy, and i have to take it apart b4 i move it, cuz if i dont, then it fall apart and i dont want any damage to it, i have 4 cymbals total, ride,crash,splash and 1that came with the set
