When Ron Paul said that the govt has to 'borrow' from the Fed after it taxes, I know this is extreme but WHY can't we just STOP taxing and just have the Fed print out the money to pay all for overspending? I mean it seems POINTLESS to overspend, not get enough taxes from hard work, and then have the Fed print money out of thin air.

What needs to be done is the federal government printing debt free money to replace the debt, and a immediate default on the debt to foreign banks. If china or england wants war, then lets give it to them... but lets not hand over a dime.

And the government will print it free of any debt to anyone, it is based on the faith of americans on their own government. We have no faith in the bankers, so why bother with the federal reserve at all. Just default and backhand the bankers, ala 1776 vs British bankers of that time.
@unknownunknowns If they did that, they would immediately be left without any power, because while you think that if people weren't taxed in US dollars but only the currency would be printed to cause inflation and thus tax the entire savings denominated in US dollars, the economy would immediately stop accepting US dollars for any purpose.

Fiat would die in a day if gov't stopped collecting income taxes.
America needs to wake up and understand the issues we face. I firmly believe the next election cycle may very well be our last chance before our economic problems become irreversible. America needs to wake up and understand the issues we face. I firmly believe the next election cycle may very well be our last chance before our economic problems become irreversible. Even that may be too optimistic. The more I research the subject to try and prove that view wrong, the more I prove it correct.
