Let's be honest, a five year old who does not fully understand that turning the wheel backwards will make the car come back down the track could not possibly have had the cognitive ability to build this "mostly on his own". I'm not saying your son is stupid, I'm surely he's perfectly average or maybe even a little above average but why not just be honest and put "the rollercoaster I made for my son"

my brother has the exact same knex roller coaster set,and had built both coasters. he is almost 19 now, and had it when he was about your sons age. i've tried to build the coasters again from his set, but alot of crucial pieces are missing from his set. i saw the coaster and thought, "that looks really familiar..."

Sweet, I had that exact same set as a kid, along with tons of other knex. Once I figured out the idea behind how to make the curves I had some pretty cool custom rollercoasters going. I had made a wind powered one that I would put the fan in front lol. Fun times. Knex were a lot of fun.
