  • This stimulates your brain UNLIKE the background noise heard on the radio

  • This song is so awesome that it is the Las Boss music of the game Catherine :D

  • Does anyone know who is playing this?

  • The new generation doesn't know what real music is.

  • @ThrashMoshBeer some of us do.

  • Pauvre Pologne! Et pourtant...

  • Awesome!! I keep thinking of Russians attacking because I first heard this piece in a scene from Chopin Desire for Love. :) Cool toh

  • oh my god this song is so fantastic

  • I came to this video from a reference in the biography of salsa singer Richie Ray, whose hit Sonido Bestial (popular salsa song from 1970s) contains a part on piano based in this Etude.

  • holy shit.

i`ll never be able to play this at such speed.i mean my teacher said that i`m able to play this with no problem.hell no

    5/5:P

  • Revolutionary Beauty.

  • co to ku.rwa wojna.?? Ch.uj wie z kim.??

  • I remember listening to this when I was very very young and it would stay with me in my dreams. The night was hauntingly beautiful yet full of subtle power and I always played with red and indigo chesspieces.

A decade passed since the dreams disappeared and now I listen to this again.

I don't care about the title given, to me this was the lulluby.

  • Chopin wrote this song because right after he came from Poland to Paris, Poles start November Uprising (they wanted to free they country from Russia). He was so mad because he couldn't come back to fight with friends and he wrote this etude.

  • Brilliant execution!

  • Who interprets?

  • I play this and love it!

  • When I hear this song, ha, I think of some like..mad scientist plotting revenge towards someone.

  • thats pretty neat

as for me, reminds me a of a sword fight duel going up some stairs

  • lol...it reminds me of a guy playing piano really madly XD

  • I get (and hold your breath)...

Men plotting and rallying for-- get this-- a revolution.

It's got a very strong... well, revolutionary feel. As I understand it he wrote it when Spain was undergoing many revolution outbreaks.

  • I believe its Poland, not 100% sure on that but yeah I believe it was written during the time Poland was undergoing a revolution itself and since Chopin was weak he used his music to influence people

  • styczeń 1864...

  • No mi sie bardzo podoba. pamietny listopad 1830 roku...

  • I can often see under Chopin movies that comments written in Polish are thumb down... :/

If someone hates Poles then dont listen to music of Fryderyk Chopen!

    Thumbs up friend :)

  • It could just be that they didn't like what they were saying in Polish: not that they didn't like it being in Polish.

  • This is the best pice for Piano EVER CREATED BY HUMAN

  • "Revolucionari"...

La meva peça preferida d'un dels més grans genis de la història.

    Un regal per l'Humanitat.

    Pur frenetisme...

  • Love that image! It reminds me just what I first imagined this piece would look like!!!

  • its etude nr 12 op.10 c-moll ;)

  • It's indeed extremely hard. I used to know how to play it...Well sort of...Chopin is definitely my favorite composer on a piano. With Beethoven.

  • I play this etude and Ihave t o say its verry hard

  • I have been looking and looking for this song, but I couldnt remember what it was called!! So many Chopin songs to sort through!! Very much my favorite!!

  • Chopin composed 24 (+3) "Etudes". 12 pieces for Opus 12 and 12 pieces for Opus 25 :) You will be able to find them easily.

  • yeh, ive heard about these new 3 etudes, since when have they been about?

  • This is my favorite piece by Chopin. You have good taste =D

  • Thank you, Carcinogen ;) That's good to know. I cannot play this piece any more though XD. Do you listen to classical music ?

  • これはあなたですか? =O

    あなたは素晴らしいです! =D

    はい、私がクラシック音楽をときおりきくです。=」

(How was that last sentence? I'm still trying to get the hang of conjunctions.)

  • @CaRC1n0g3n This is also my favorite Chopin piece!
