none of the women on More To Love are size 14-16 or the 'average-size' woman. these are BIG girls, which is fine. what isn't fine is that most of these women are so emotionally scarred & they aren't okay with their OWN weight. nearly every interview finds the woman in tears because she has never had a date, boyfriend or relationship. this show is so painful to watch mostly because the women haven't embraced who they are.

The guy behind The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Mike Fleiss created this show. On the surface I love watching a reality program where the women look like me. The women on this show are gorgeous. I just don't appreciate the pity party. I watch the Bachelor so I know how these women get when faced with the overwhelming competition, but when the focus is based on weight and their only value comes at the hands of a man they barely know then I have a big issue with it.

The show is much like other reality shows where they are designed to humiliate people. This show is no exception. They aren't concerned with these women, they are only concerned with ratings, unfortunate but that sadly, is reality...they like to put their height and weight up because it's more sensational, however despicable.

While I agree that it's infuriating to see women consistently depicted on TV as size two bimbos, I am even more angered that it seems as women we are given two options. A-Size 2, B-Fat. Neither of which are healthy lifestyles.What about eating well and getting some exercise and being a HEALTHY bodyweight. The women on that show, by and large, are not regular sized. They are mostly medically overweight. Size zero isn't healthy either of course, but being 5'5 and 200lbs = unhealthy.

It completely irritates me that they got a fat Bachelor. There are normal sized guys out there, great looking guys, like my husband who prefer fuller figured women. Like only a fat guy could love those fat girls. I also don't believe for one minute that those girls are as pathetic in the love dept. as they let on.  I've been heavy for a long time but have never lacked male attention. The show wouldn't be near as irritating if there were a mix of thin and average sized peeps.

Its gonna air over here quite soon, i think from 10 Aug. But these shows result in anorexics, bulmimics, BDD sufferers and idolisation of our 'non-perfect' society. Yea, we don't have TV but the other day my hubby heard about this show & was telling me about it, we were both like,good, finally, normal woman,  no bone butt woman,I am one of those but not by choice I have a disease) NE WAYS...my hubby told my about this show..because I think the normal woman body type is gorgeous! Oh my gosh! The first episode came on the other night, and I starte thinking maybe it would be okay, but as it progressed, I found myself just getting more and more and more upset!  They were showing each woman's height and weight - like you said! I started comparing myself to them, thinking - oh my God! I could be on this show! Yeah I've saw the preview for the show but did not watch the first episode. I can't believe that they showed the height and weight of each woman. That is so contradicting, especially for a show that is supposed to portray more about inner beauty and not focus on the outer. I know about the show, but haven't watched it and won't. I refused from the standpoint of how it was promoted in the previews. I think it's ridiculous and insulting to put their weight up; how it that necessary??? Everyone knows the premise of the show. And furthermore, while the guy seems like a nice enough person, it kindof sends the message that if you aren't a size 2 you have to be "categorized". There's a purposeful seperation, and I find it insulting and disgusting. Blessed Be :)
