Anyone remember the MP skit with 'Mrs S-C-U-M' the cleaning lady in it? can't find it anywhere!☺ (how did they sell this to America? is it cos they're all Oxbridge' graduates?)
@MarkB1ngham I guess you mean "Take Your Pick" from the Atiila The Hun Show. :-) Make sure you also see the early version of that sketch in "How To Irritate People" (the character is called Mrs. Morris here)! :-)
few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand.
This hollywood bowl version of the silly walks is IMO better than the original.
I act out all of John Cleese's silly walks... and people look at me silly. I love em that much, but Cleese's walks are easily imitated, never duplicated.
When I saw this one for the first time I almost peed my pants laughing - and today it's still the same - when I see this sketch I can't hold it back... I mean: the laughter! ;-) Still amazing...
I 'm told that John Cleese doesn't really understand why the purely physical comedy of things like the silly walk are funny. That's part of why his physical comedy is so deadpan.
It's amazing how tall he is but how flexible he can be. I mean, when he does that thing with his knees towards the end, making them go off to the sides, it seems that someone of his height would have a hard time keeping all that body weight on such an akwardly positioned leg! Amazing...
even we krauts can laugh about this sketch :D, i love monty python and john cleese is undescribable in this scene. phenomenal. greetings from bavaria :)
That's tragic, but i guess it figures, what with the cartoons. Humour in Denmark really seems to be something serious.
I looked it up in Wikipedia:
"In 1989, a Danish audiologist, Ole Bentzen, died after laughing while watching the film. His heart was estimated to have beat at between 250 and 500 beats per minute, before he succumbed to cardiac arrest."
I may be strange but I find Michael Palin's short pants so hilarious! He is by far my fav Python. I mean, the ex-leper in Life of Brian is so funny, the 'crucifiction?' guy too, well in fact all his characters are great ;)
1997 a girl called lauren was walikng in a forest and then a she just dissapeared no one ever found her untill 2000 when a yoing girl called Mary found her body and markings on her chest saying: I wasnt pretty enough" and now you have read this she will appear in your mirror saying your not pretty enough and kill you. by the way the girl called mary died shortly after.

merseygroup, have you seen Life of Brian? i have, several times, and it is an absolutely brilliant film NO ONE is going to hell for. there is no scene in that film, whatsoever, portraying the death of your lord. in fact, as i recall it, the second, yes the second, scene in that film clearly shows that brian is NOT your lord, merely a contemporary, someone who lived at the same time.
hello AGAIN you loser fag. You do this for all Monty python vids, and you just come off looking like a complete gay ass expecting people to agree with you. HOW ARE THEY MAKING FUN OF THE CRIPPLED?
