Unfortunately, a three-way race and the lack of a runoff election system in ME cost the state an opportunity to have the strongest leader in the Blaine House in 2010. Hopefully, 2014 will yield a different result and Eliot Cutler will have an opportunity to bring his forward-thinking, inspiring, uniting, pragmatic, and innovative ideas to the Governor's Office.
