I hate that Hollywood has to put a love story in every film; its like a cheesy ploy to make women fain interest in an action film. The love story in the first two films weakened the character all with other liberties Nolan took. Every character in the films came off better than Bruce/Batman. RDj did a better job playing Br/Batman in Ironman; I'm just hoping Nolan does a better job fleshing out the MAIN character better.

Like Joker and Two-Face could actually be criminals in real life that would dress up like a clown and kill people or a criminal who has half his face burned off like Two-Face. I like Clayface too but hopefully the Batman movies will get another reboot after Nolan's trilogy and not take the realistic approach and use villains like ClayFace and KillerCroc.

I hope to hell you're wrong. If this ends up being a story of jilted lovers in overdrive the movie is ruined. Right now, this film looks to be a masterpiece, but if your theory is correct then the film will be diminished. I agree that it is probable that Cotillard is playing Talia, that Bane has something to do with the League, and that this film is the apotheosis of Ra's original plan in "Batman Begins." But an overamped love story? God, I hope not. Also, I'm looking out for female Robin.

There is no Santa Prisca in the film. It's Bane's true home from South America. The way Bane is altered is not too good, but he does have his brutality with him.
Josh Pence will play Ras Al Guhl, the way Marion is dressed in some of the scenes isn't the way a normal women would dress, and I guarantee she will be Talia. I'm sure Nolan is trying to make some kind of twist in TDKR liked of like the Prestige, I hope it's as effective
I like Bane's origin. Trained and raised by Ra's al Ghul himself. Perfect to end this trilogy since he is the complete opposite of Batman. Also my theory on Talia al Ghul is: 1) Cotallard could be playing her even though she said she isnt ( could be a lie to keep it secret) 2) Its a Nolan film and there are a lot of changes in this trilogy, so maybe Catwoman might be Talia al Ghul ( my opinion so dont hate) and plus, it is said that she is an associate of Bane anyway.

Sounds pretty good, time will tell of course. I hope all these characters, situations, etc aren't crammed carelessly in the movie and we get a big mish-mash of a movie. Watching Batman Begins again, just throwing this out there. Does anyone remember when Bruce burns down the hideout for the LOS and "kills" fake Ra's? I wonder if he is Bane's character, given that a heavy beam fell on him, which could be why Bane needs the gas to stay pain free. We never actually know what that guy's true name is, and Bane says in the Prologue "No one cared who I was until I put on the mask". I understand he was chinese, but maybe the accent Bane uses is a disguise?

@bluedreamer5000 Um no,Damian has no similarities with Cass or Jason.His LOA angle was actually explored through an Elseworld(Kingdom come) so he beat Cassandra to the punch there and the LOS stuff was'nt a part of Cassandra's character until less than a year before Damian was created and his arrogance is easily explainable(Talia,she's very arrogant as well).It does'nt take rocket science to figure out why Damian acts like that.
The only DC character he might be similar to is maybe Bane.

@Kevora92 Actually in the comics Bane was considered by Ra's Al Ghul to be his succesor as the leader of his league. Maybe we'll see that in The Dark Knight Rises.
@Kevora92 According to Wikipedia, I know not 100 percent valid but I trust it, says that he did join the League of Shadows because Ras was looking for an heir and a husband for Talia. After Batman kicks Bane's ass, Ras fires him and realizes he made a mistake.

No WAY, Tatiana. With Nolan's movies it's never that easy. The producer does not do romantic movies. I am betting that Bane is trying to destroy Gotham as revenge for Ra's death or his wish. Reason Bane was the one to take the leadership of Ra's empire before Batman came along, and when his master was killed, Bane sought revenge on Batman and to get the acceptance of all the higher-ups in the the League's organization. Basically, to become the best.

I really doubt John Blake will be the new batman. Bruce trained for 7 years with masters, and ninjas overseas to learn several different fighting styles so he'd stand a chance waging a one man war on crime. If I remember correctly, catwoman is always a certain love interest for batman, so why are you all talking about talia and bane and the hypothetical love triangle with batman? This ain't twilight! Or catwoman is a love interest, or talia and catwoman are, but not only talia(that would be against the comics: Hush, for exanple)

Damian's fault is that he's mom decided to make her son the male version of Casandra Cain with the attitude of the red hood.not only that the kid acts like he's been living for years or that he's life is a real hell.but then again,if my mom was talia and my dad batman,then i think i might have couple of issues as well.still,he doesn't have to be such an ass.

@bluedreamer5000 Um no,Damian has no similarities with Cass or Jason.His LOA angle was actually explored through an Elseworld(Kingdom come) so he beat Cassandra to the punch there and the LOS stuff was'nt a part of Cassandra's character until less than a year before Damian was created and his arrogance is easily explainable(Talia,she's very arrogant as well).It does'nt take rocket science to figure out why Damian acts like that.
The only DC character he might be similar to is maybe Bane.

Even though Talia might not be THE main villain she will probably play an important role, so the actress to play her must have been announced by now, meaning it can only be Cotillard.
I suppose Miranda Tate is just like an alias to avoid unnecessary attention from Bruce and to properly "infiltrate" his social environment
It does make sense that Bane is a member of the League of Shadow even though he isn't in the comics, but I wonder how Catwoman will fit into all of this..

@Kevora92 Actually in the comics Bane was considered by Ra's Al Ghul to be his succesor as the leader of his league. Maybe we'll see that in The Dark Knight Rises.

@Kevora92 According to Wikipedia, I know not 100 percent valid but I trust it, says that he did join the League of Shadows because Ras was looking for an heir and a husband for Talia. After Batman kicks Bane's ass, Ras fires him and realizes he made a mistake.
As for Catwoman, I thinks she'll just be a third party throughout the movie, trolling both sides.

No WAY, Tatiana. With Nolan's movies it's never that easy. The producer does not do romantic movies. I am betting that Bane is trying to destroy Gotham as revenge for Ra's death or his wish. Reason Bane was the one to take the leadership of Ra's empire before Batman came along, and when his master was killed, Bane sought revenge on Batman and to get the acceptance of all the higher-ups in the the League's organization. Basically, to become the best.

I really doubt John Blake will be the new batman. Bruce trained for 7 years with masters, and ninjas overseas to learn several different fighting styles so he'd stand a chance waging a one man war on crime.
