Great ident. It feels weird, seven years into the millenium!! I was only 9 years old in 2000 and didn't really understand what the big fuss was about, I just wish I had ofto be honest. To me it was just another year.
Honestly, I had been expecting the millennium change since I was 7 in 1998, and was just desperate coz people talked about the "new century" and not the "new millennium" (which is far more important). I however managed to know in July 2000 that the millennium actually was beginning in 2001 and so told my family and we had two celebrations!
When I celebrated the new year on Dec 31st 1999 and on Dec 31st 2000, I didn't know at the time that the millenium offically started in 2001. Although I must say that both celebrating 2000 and celebrating 2001 were both fantastic times to celebrate.
This is awesome! I remember how excited everybody got over Millennium new year!
