  • why when click the link get me back to main menu ?

  • @xDolex works me. Dunno.

  • Gives*

  • Ok so after YouTube gibes you money how do you turn it into cash?

  • @TheMinecraftPerson11 Revenue is paid through Google's Adsense system.

  • do you think its likely for a video to get accepted if it has a song playing in the background?? what are the boundaries for songs? my channel is about dancing and i surely dont wanna be sued lol

  • @R33MSTACKZ Legally, you are not supposed to use any music or material you don't have the legal right to use. Generally, YouTube's system will catch videos using over 30 seconds of a song or video in their database.

  • do you have to pay?

  • @MrRidoyfaruk93 Nope, it's entirely free to apply and to be accepted as partner.

  • can I become a partner with gaming videos

  • Hey, once you become a youtube partner do you stay a partner or..?

    Thanks

  • @ryenpez Ya I believe so, unless you violate the rules of the partnership agreement.

  • @Castaa oh ok thank you.

  • Hi I am only uploading videos that I have made the vision and audio (via a music creation program) for. A few of my earlier videos have copyright noted songs in them. Do you think it would be wise to take them down. Also is there a way of removing deleted videos from your statistics.

  • @brynmag I think you should be OK. But if you are applying for the partner program, those views from those videos are probably not taken into account for acceptance. That's a just a guess though. I don't believe there is a way to adjust your total statistics.

  • @Castaa Ok Thanks. I am only getting around 100 views a day at the moment in total but I thought it might be best to lay the right foundations for when the time comes that I could apply for a youtube Partnership.

  • Can't wait to become a partner. :D

  • Hey man, nice vid, and I have a question:

I have 4 videos on my channel which contain copyrighted material, and it says so in my uploaded video list. But there is also a video which contains music from major record labels, but this video doesnt get listed as a video with copyrighted material. Can I have this video if I want partnership, or does this have to be removed too?

    Thnx in advance ^^

  • @stefanmoek Probably a good idea to take it down. YouTube is looking for video makers that can generate views using their own content.

  • @Castaa But is it safe to keep them up? Or might I get a strike?

  • @stefanmoek I believe, that YouTube's new system doesn't give strikes for that type of copyright infringement. It's a bit surprising that it didn't catch it.

  • Hey Castaa i've been watching your youtube video advice and i wanna say thanks I will keep these in mind since i just started uploading. I was just wondering though how long did it take you to become a partner?...I feel like it will take me forever to get noticed

  • @buibuoy Well I started making video well before the YouTube Partner Program existed. However it did take me at least a year to build any significant audience. Also I was greatly helped by YouTube editors prominently featuring a couple of my documentary videos. Which they don't do as much anymore.

But like I said in the video, at the end of the day, all YouTube largely cares about is a large amount of complete video views.

  • Thanks a lot for the info. What's the difference between being a partner and having my channel monetized?

  • @gfreakj Mainly you get to add a banner to your channel.

  • @Castaa Thanks. Thought maybe it was the amount of money or where the ad is placed. Why are some ads little banners and some ads actually run before the video plays. Last question. I wont bother you with any more after this. ;)

  • @gfreakj That I can't say for sure. Certain content partners might have different deals. Google doesn't disclose those details to the public.

  • @Castaa Thanks for your help.

  • I have a question. I currently have a "strike" on this youtube account of mine, i was wondering if it would ever go away? Any response is appreciated.

  • @SWATAIR Ya, they do eventually go away. I believe after 6 or 12 months.

  • @Castaa Hey thanks that really helped me cause i was kinda worried.

  • I was just wondering Castaa if i did mini mr bean which i already have done but gonna do more. Is that copyright of mr bean?

  • @Marsh16194 You should be OK.

  • I've made a couple of videos now, and in all I get around 1000 views a day. However when I received the offer I noticed it was only on one of my videos - the first video I made without copyrighted music, or I had complete permission to use. it had a new button that said "enable revenue sharing". Does that mean it's only for that specified video, or my whole channel? Because I have earlier videos which had copyrighted music - will I need to take them down in order for partnership acceptance?

  • @meejmuse Those video should be ok but going forward, use music that your have the rights to use. Certainly don't enable revenue sharing with those videos. Good luck!

  • i get like 10-30 views

  • @HannahTheScribe You should have heard of reply one way or another. However, your channel's videos need to be receiving 500-1000 total views a day. I watched a couple of videos. Your video quality is good. Just hang in there and keep your video's energy and passion high.

  • @HannahTheScribe the best thing to do is become friends with a already YouTube partner cuz if they ask 4 u to be partnered u have 90% more hope of getting in

  • @HannahTheScribe Consider branching out to something new. Follow another passion in video form.

  • @HannahTheScribe Hang in there. It takes time to build an audience and learn what people want.

  • nice video, thank you!

  • @VictoryAtGunpoint Glad to help

  • good video bro:) happy to see u again:)

  • @PandorasPalette Thanks Lan Lan ;)

  • I'll have to get my 30 loyal viewers to click more often :)

  • @paul20072007 Exactly!

  • True everything you say. Daily views is the most important thingy.

  • @adrianisen They are as long as they are of stuff you make. Subscribers doesn't really matter unless it's translating into viewership.

  • thanks for uploading this, its very useful :D

see the google adsense, how do you apply for that?

because they asked for my website, so i gave them my youtube channel adress, but it never worked, so i made a free website and put some videos on it and it still never worked when i applied again

  • @TheBawbag88 Once you are accepted as a YouTube Partner, you'll be asked to create an Google adsense account for your channel. That's what happened for me.

  • @Castaa yeh, but how do you make an adsense acount?

like on the adsense application thing, it says that you have to type the primary url of the place you want ad sense to be on. so what did you write in there? did you put your youtube channels address, or did you put a website with your videos on it?

because when i apply for it it keeps rejecting it

  • @TheBawbag88 I didn't have an adsense account until they accepted my partner application. Once accepted there was an adsense account creation that was part of accepting partnership.

  • @Castaa ah right, ok

its because i can put adds on one of my videos. i got an email from youtube saying i can advertise on one of my videos, but i needed ad sense first

but i found out what to do. had to create a blogger account and link the ad sense to that, and then link the youtube account to the ad sense account

    complicated, but done, lol
