Firefox with Ad Block Plus extension is extraordinary at providing a great ad-free internet environment. I can block any picture, animation, or even web frame I want. I read your comment and thought I would give you some information. Information that has helped me. Hope I don't come off as spam because this is not the intention! Hope it helps.
I agree with you about the internet. It's now a basic necessity in households, which is sad but yeah. If you really didn't want to pay for internet, you could always go to the library, or if you have a laptop, you can go where there is free wi-fi, such as an unsecured internet connection, or a legit location such as starbucks or mcdonalds. Problem is, you're going to be exposed to advertising either way. I suggest adblock. Doesn't get rid of it all, but it does the job online.
