an interesting view on how sexual assault needs to be handled. i understand the reasons behind the obligation to report law, but unfortunately in certain circumstances it may not be applicable. this case might not necessarily be one, but there is still a question to be asked--do abused 14-year-olds need to go through the trauma of reporting an assault? or is it a judicial necessity that will be better for them later on? it's not as cut and dry as mr. beck presents it.

You should be more polite on the internet.
The fact of the matter is that at conception you have a new human being with 2 sets of 23 chromosomes. When you get an abortion, you exterminate that human being. When you say that a woman has a right to abortion then you are also saying that a human being is the property of the woman getting the abortion. In fact a person's rights end where another person's rights begin. It's not her chromosomes, not her DNA and not her choice.

Since when do people have the right to impose death on an innocent human being? Well, since Roe v. Wade. And notice how everybody who promotes abortion as a "woman's right" always avoids the question of when a human begins. "That's not in my pay grade". Do we know that humans aren't property? Not sure everyone is on board with this theory (slavery, for example), so don't assume that everyone thinks how you think. My personal thought is that humans have ownership of their own bodies, and only their own. Someone may be able to rip the clothes off my back, but I would still have ownership of my physical body. This being said, even pregnant women are rightful owners of their bodies, and that includes any human growth within them.

The study of biology and the advancement of ultrasound technology is converting so many people to the truth. At conception you have a human being and abortion kills a human being. We just had our 8 week ultrasound last week and our child was moving its arms and legs. Abortion kills a human.

A sperm is a haploid, it only has 1 set of 23 chromosomes. A woman's egg is also a haploid that only has 1 set of 23 chromosomes. Humans have 2 sets of 23 chromosomes. All of the cells that a human being produces, with the exception of reproductive cells, they all have 2 sets of 23 chromosomes. Part of the biology of being human is having 2 sets of 23 chromosomes. At conception you also have new DNA. A human only has 1 set of DNA and yet an abortion removes a human with it's own DNA.

If you study have ever studied law and if you read carefully the court case Roe v. Wade you will see that abortion has been made legal in our country in the case that a person's contraception fails.
Contraception and Abortion are tightly linked. Another fact about the pill is that it can act as an abortive. At conception you have a human and conception and if you take drugs that prevent a conceived human from implanting then you have just committed a chemical abortion.

The pill messes up a woman's endocrine system. I listened to an abortion doctor who converted to the pro life movement say that a couple will pay a doctor all kinds of money to prevent them from having children early on and then they will pay a doctor all kinds of money to help them conceive later on. Contraception messes up a woman's reproductive system. Stay away from it. Why do you think so many women have thyroid problems these days? Cancers? It's the chemicals in the pill.

P.P. contributes to teen pregnancy by handing out condoms. My friends in high school didn't start getting pregnant until P.P. started handing out condoms.

A couple practicing Natural Family Planning charts the woman's body temperature, mucus, and cervix signs. These signs change when a woman begins to ovulate. If you want to avoid pregnancy then you don't have sex for the few days that you are fertile.

Natural Family Planning is not "Catholic Contraception" because in NFP you are simply not having sex during the time when a woman can get pregnant. With contraception you are chemically altering the woman's body so that you can have sex. Or you are putting up an artificial wall that separates you and your spouse from truly uniting. It is no wonder that Catholics who practice NFP have a virtual zero divorce rate because the couple develops impeccable communication skills when not having sex.

My boss practices NFP, he has been married for 14 years and he only has 2 girls. Gives a couple a commanding knowledge of the female reproductive system.
My wife and I had a baby last year. We did ecological breast feeding and my wife's fertility didn't return to her until 9 months after our child was born. So 9 months of infertility and 9 months gestation, that equals 18 months of infertility, IMPOSSIBLE TO "PUMP OUT BABIES"

So my wife is the only person I have ever had sex with. She has to contend with NO ONE. I know her fertility cycle. She doesn't have to worry about catching an STD from me. We talk and laugh with each other every night and some nights we have sex. We respect sex and it's life giving potential. The more science develops the more people will convert back to the pro life movement. I say "back" because there is no child that would approve of an abortion if you explained it to him or her. You need to be brainwashed into accepting abortion.
One of the best things that has happened is ultrasound technology. We can observe gestation. We can see that it is in fact not a "blob of tissue" at 8 weeks. The human has hands and feet and eyes and a heart beat. Abortion is wrong.

I agree that it shouldn't be used as a form of birth control (I find this to be the exception and not the norm anyway.) But I also believe the alternative shouldn't be a coat-hanger & a dirty bathroom. What about those who are raped or molested?
I'm married. Don't sleep around. I use proper forms of birth control. But you better believe I will excercise my right as a woman if the time comes. Even the best forms of birth control fail. Not everyone has a mistake as a result of "sleeping around"
