Ye can see why obviously certain fans would sway more to their old music, its fucking straight out in your face punk/funk based. But cmon imagine somebody showed you all their albums yet each time you didn't know it was the same band until the last track was played.

You'd be pretty damn impressed to see how they changed over the years & produced quality albums.

@tvrulesnation They nail just making music, they cover such a large area and I can listen to so many different parts of their stuff and it hits so many different feelings and moods, all of just works so well. But yeah, I'm definately into their earlier stuff right now, I always change haha.

disagree, By the way was just as good, it seemed to make more sense as an album on califronication you had this unbelievably weird mishmash of song styles, on By the Way, the instrumentals, from mainly flea and john are amazing, the horns and stuff

Yeah By the Way is good too, but their gold age in my opinion was from 1984 to 1999. So I think By the Way and SA are good but not great.

Stadium arcadium is a whole diffrent story, everyone improved in those three years, epsecially flea and anthony, and they had also developd a chemistry that was beyond antural chemistry becasue they had played orgether for so long

but in the end they grew too far apart musically

stadium arcadium was like a whole bunch of really good, old jazz session muisicians - a good album but very diffrent
