I think you would benefit from possibly re-thinking your picking technique it seems more like a pluck, use your whole wrist and dont pinch the pick, try and curl your finger too.

I see all these SCOM solo videos thinking the guitarist will actually solo. sure, its cool to learn slash's solo, but that wont get you anywhere, why not try to solo for yourself instead living a life of imitation.

People need to understand that you can't play the same way Slash did on the album. Hell, even Slash can't do that again. That was a good version of the solo. If anybody wants to sent me a video of Slash playing it exactly like on the album please do so, I'd be happy to see it.
