Thank you ! I just did what you said and it's looking good ! Unfortunately, since I can only save one picture at the same time, the sharp eye only gets that particular part, and so, synthesia only reads that part. since the song i wanna play have 12 sheets...i will have to play 12 different parts, instead of seeing it as one continuous song. Pretty good, thanks, I'll try it out. I just found out about the program Synthesia a couple days ago, and I wanted to do this one specific song, but it only takes midi files. i only have the piano sheet in pdf. Dx so imma try this. thanks.

@JennaAndTheBabes Did you download Foxit reader? If not, you could save the sheet music and then download Foxit, open it, and click "Tools". Then there'll be the camera icon. Hope it helped!

hey, i've done exactly what you did, but when i try to save it as a MIDI file it says "there is no time signature at the start of the score."

@1290leon I don't know if he had responded to you yet. I got the same thing too, after I did the second page of the piano sheet. But I still saved it. And it still worked. o.O Synthesia still played it for me. I suggest just save it, regardless of what it said ? See if that works first. ^^

honestly, this method is MUCH worse than downloading the torrent for pdftomusic. just search for it and download it on: torrentz (dot) eu

and (PLEASE), don't be "that kid" who complains: "I can't use torrents because:

a. I don't know how to use them

b. I don't want to get caught by the police

c. I'm afraid I will get a virus"

to which I would say:

a. Then google it and learn

b. Don't be a [_____], nobody gets caught for that

c. Then download a reliable antivirus

If u have photoshop u can also convert PDF to TIF, anyways i got it to read in Sharp eye2, but my problem is I have multiple pages i want to convert into a MIDI. Is there a way I can convert more than 1 page at a time using sharp eye or do i need another program?

Seems like Sharp Eye 2 won't recognize scanned sheet music files. I have already wasted a few hours trying to make it work. I have even converted the image files to PDF and then back to TIFF like this tutorial explained. The software has a scan option, but I can't use it, as I only have a portable scanner that saves it automatically to JPEG.

All you have to do is google "utorrent", download it, install it, and download torrents for it. Not complicated.

For people wanting to create one midi from multiple sections, save each page in the 'sharpeye' format (i think that is what it is called) and once every page has been scanned and saved, drag them into the main window and it will ask you if you want to add it onto the end, press 'append'.

butt, i have a question of my own, i have set the tempo to 140, and the volume to as high as possible. the speed is fine now, but there is no sound. can anyone tell me how to fix this, or the right setting? ta

'PDF995' will turn any visual content into PDF. you just need to install it. open the midi in any notation software (sielius, finale, encore), and then print it to 'PDF995' instead your regular printer. the only "downside" (if it can be consider as one) is thats every time you print, a window will come up for a few seconds. if you want it to go away you need to buy the software.

I'm having the same problem as OrganMan007: Weird speed, no sound played.

Also a LOT of the notes didn't manage to get on the .midi file after converting the .tiff in Sharpeye, but thats allright.

I use Synthesia.

sorry,i just figured it out,actually in the Sharp eye options,the MIDI options,the volume suddenly falls down to 0

and the velocity fell down to 0 too,so i cant hear anything but when i change the volume and velocity higher,

the notes is shorter and the sounds came up great.Sorry for bothering you!

use mixcraft,for example,you got 2 MIDIs part:

1st)open mixcraft 5 and the MIDI part 2

2nd)copy all the virtual instrument tracks of part 2

3rd)open the MIDI part 1

4th)paste the tracks of part 2 just after the part 1 tracks

5th)save as MIDI and done!

you dont really have to use foxit reader. All you have to do is use Adobe reader and click on the snapshot tool and make sure its 300% zoom in then highlight the page and copy-paste it into paint and it works just the same.

was foxit reader maximized completely when you copied it?

if the answer is yes, then I assume that the sheet music is too bad quality.

If the answer is no, then try it again.
