sup, i got the same exhaust you got. i also did the 3 inche cut off too. sound the same as mine.... i'm working on a custom full system with that tank. don't know how it will sound like after that.
I took it to a local shop. They took off 3 inches of the rear of the muffler(mid-pipe side), drilled out the rivets, chopped it and riveted back together. All for about $50 labor including taking the pipe off the bike and back on. So pretty simple if you have the machinery. Thanks!!!
will u need a heatshield for the exhaust if u have a carbon fiber one? cuz CB exhausts protect against heat right?

The vid was before the PCIII, now it sounds a lil different. A full system could change it a lil too, interesting.

The three inches on the muffler section. You can see on the video where the tip if it is even with the tail. Sounds better in person!
