I've still got a Mega Drive and Master System which I've yet to get round to sampling. As with the C64, their inbuilt synthesizers sounded unique to each other, though the 64 was the only one of these three to have proper music hardware and software produced to this day.

I'd love to see a MIDI cartridge available for the Segas as these could be plumbed into my studio as professionally as the C64s I have. Still, sampling notes and sound snippets is almost as good.

Can anyone help me name a game? I think it was for Sega Genesis, but you had little soldiers and you controlled each of them in a bird's eye view. You could cross streams by making them and stuff and shoot enemies. I think you start with a jungle theme mission. And each time you defeat a level there is cut scene where they ride helicopters or something and show more people lining up for something. Please help!

Hmm, the best way would be using an genesis emulator and record via fraps or somethink.

Using the real thing could be done by connecting the genesis to a dvd-recorder or a pc (tv-capture card). Quality would suffer due to the fact, that the genesis video output is a little odd.

I'm not sure, but I think Super Nintendo have more games. Though, Sega genesis have better games (came after). When it comes to system, Sega CD of the genesis was the precursor of the playstantion series and other consoles with CDs (like x-box). So, genesis was better too.

But when it comes to emulation... Super Nintendo is better than Sega Genesis in my opinion. ZSnes is much better than Gens...

ToeJam & Earl (I prefer 2)

I am baffled that a few of these particularly didn't make it. Otherwise, a pretty good list.

He also included Night Trap, wich is a CD game. I have no problem with this, Mega CD and 32X games are all part of the Mega Drive library, they arent separate system.

Other people think diferently, thats just my opinion.

I don't either, but I do think when making a top Megadrive/Genesis list it should either be noted that CD/32x are included and which are which or just excluded.

That being said, I consider the CD purely as an upgrade to the Megadrive/Genesis, but consider the 32x somewhat of a seperate system.
