I always wondered who was picturized on this song. Now I know. What a fitting tribute to Wajeeda ji. Only Rafi ji's beautiful melodious silken voice could give justice to the beautiful lyrics. One of my favorites. Thanks for sharing. Wonderful choice of upload.

Rafi Sahab was truly a down-to-earth person despite all the fame & stature he had. Was least influenced by the glamour of Bollywood. Effortless he sang, but to the listeners it feels as if he is revelaing the mysteries of nature. He had all the emotions within him, he could make people cry as good as he could make them laugh. Such singers are indeed immortal!!
