Great movie but the real downer was the look of the creatures, this is one movie imo that should be remade; it'd be cool if they could make the Langoliers in the same likeness as the shadow people and as the black smokish entities get close the smoke starts eating the victims away like a black hole.

This movie scared the shit out of me when I was 10. After watching, I didn't like airplanes, airports, Pacman, Rice Crispy Treats, or people. I look at some of the clips and the visual effects are silly but i will never watch the movie again.

I remember seeing this when i was around 10-12ish. I gotta say seeing this film back then was really something. The whole empty feel of being in the past made this film scary! It feels like its not a place to linger about... and plus i think the VHS version had 4 tapes i think, it was a long ass movie! About 3 hours long if i remember.
