Unless it's been investigated in a rear-world accident, it will not be reported. Once the 2011 Results come in for the SRX, we will see if it needs to be recalled.

Yes it was, the passenger's seat belt pretensioner failed and only the first-stage of the airbag deployed. Just a fluke.

or actually, maybe because the air bag came out too early, and by the time the person hits it, the air pressure has already ran out

or could this be a fluke? cuz i thought the srx uses the same passenger air bag as the saturn vue, which got 5 stars from NHTSA's crash test
and from this video, the air bag did deploy on time, so could this be a fluke? lol
another thing.. howcome it got 4 stars when HIC is 835? shouldnt that be a 3 stars or less?
@warset The chest deceleration was low; all of the injury risk was in the head.

man thats pathetic... it got high ratings on IIHS cause they only do driver side offset crash test
and the problem with this vehicle is in its left side airbag, which is not tested in the IIHS or EuroNcap lol so lame..
i guess its important to look at BOTH NHTSA test results and IIHS test result; u might miss out something if u only look at 1 test

BTW, did Cadillac fix the airbag or was this a fluke test?
835 from bottoming out an airbag is way better than 1329 with no airbag. (Infiniti EX35 first test)
BTW, the passenger airbag needs to be fixed.
