So what if they're off beat for ten seconds. That tells you they are actually playing. I read in Q magazine that now days a big percentage of "live acts" use demos in their concerts. And no, we're not talking about the Gagas and Biebers of the industry, but established rock bands.

Che wasn't off beat, it was the guitarist. His loop is off starting at like 0:27. Che has to continually compensate for the messed up guitar riff, which gets immortalized because it's being looped.

i dont think damon is off-beat. i think hes doing it on purpose as an effect. it goes to show how incredibly talented he is to be able to keep a steady beat that is exactly "off" with everybody else

might make me sound mediocre but i feel kinda good when bands like these make mistakes in live performances. i witnessed something like this at a radiohead concert. reminds me that they are human too, and makes me feel better when gigs don't go so well.

sloppy, but picks up again. live show + looping= not always going to be like the recording...so just take it in for what it is i guess.
