WHEN I USED TO HEAR THIS BK IN 05? AS PAUL WAS STRUGGLING THRU A MINOR RUFF PATCH..I REMEMBER THINKING TO MYSELF ...NOW ISN'T THAT JUST LIKE DEAR SWEET PAUL WHILE HE HAS ALL THIS GOING ON...TO WRITE A SONG STRAIGHT FROM MY HEART.. TO HIM FOR ME! A THANKS FOR ALL THE LESSONS IN LIFE, THE GUIDANCE AND THE MUSIC THAT NEVER LET ME DOWN..AND WAS ALWAYS THERE WHEN I NEEDED IT ;) ;) HOW KIND OF YOU DEAR PAUL HUGSU :) XOZ N PS HAPPY EASTER GLASTONBURY?? WINK
Yeh, great song, great album. Very under-rated for some reason, probably because it was a little melancholy in places. I thought it was one of Macca's mosr genuine albums.
Fantastic! Sometimes I wonder if anyone in his world has the juevos to tell him that the crowd is generally hardcore fans who would love to hear him sing more songs like this, and less of the big hits that they hear all day every day on the radio. If he really wants to make the crowd go wild on his next tour, how about one rarely-played song per show? Like, opening night he throws in "When I'm 64" - guarantee the crowd would go nuts.
Get in touch, Paul, I have all kinds of tips like this. Free!

This truly is a brilliant song, easily at the high Beatles level--as are a number of other songs on "Chaos and Creation." Had it been included on the "White Album," it would today be regarded as a classic, even by many who like to bash Paul's post-Beatle career.
This particular live performance, however, leaves much to be desired, especially in terms of Paul's failing voice. Maybe he was just hoarse on the night of this recording.
@Allareone2 he sounds hoarse in this performance--but he;s usually not, he probably had toured so much all so close together he was worn out. I saw his recent Arizona 2010 concert- the 1st on his tour- and Paul was amazing, probably cause' he wasn't worn out.

McCartney at his best. "Chaos & Creation" is probably his best CD.
