  • can't wait to enter this years one

  • I'm learning how to board slide and have tried a few times but ended up badly hurting my back each time. Does any one have a any tips what i could try?

  • start slowly, dont think u can do it like the pros 1st time. and PERSIVERE!!!

    x

  • Cheers, do you need to bend your kees or just stand straight or stand in riding possition?

  • lean forward ;)

  • Remi Rules

  • whats better mb with brakes or mb without brakes, can u remove the brakes and poot them back on?

  • depends on the discipline and skill level. if your doing downhill a brake might be better for you, if ur riding freestyle you wont be needing a break, unless you cant powerslide. yes you can take them on and off but trust me when i first started i ditched the break within the first week, most people tend to do that also. learn how to slide to a stop before u ditch the break though

  • brakes get in the way and u can stop with no brakes easily.

  • Mountain boards with brakes are like for those big no snos' that go on really steep hills but without is more fun for general riding! :^}

  • i get what pruzhini is saying

i mean the us open here in the US was just a little bit ago, and there were the occasional riders from out of the country, but that doesnt mean it makes it a WFC

  • Love the comments from the siberian guy here :p

  • it is not that Guy) it is our team his friends from russia))

  • I know, I'm just trying to add to the confusion of some people here :)

  • wow. ok. calm down.

  • yeah, maybe not everyone who is amazing at mountaing boarding was there but the people that were there were bloody awesome and the guys who one definately deserved to win, barin in mind the weather turned really bad during the evening. and there were guys from siberia and japan so it can't really be called the UK championships... even though the majority was from the UK.

  • MAN! Can you understand SIBERIA is not a country! It is russia. One man from russia and Japan does not make it WFC. There were all the time foreighn people at UK events, at the end of 90's and 2000-2001 and it is regular thing. It is UK Wet Face Champ.

  • Why does the weather hate the World Freestyle Championships. Still sick riding (could have been so much better) brilliant track, loven the big drop.

  • the riding, with better weather conditions and if it had lasted past th qualifying, would defintly have taken a step up and i think the results may have turned out slightly difrent as i know alot of the riders such as arno and sam nicholas were saving themselves for the actual comp, but rory is right, the riders who rode the best did win and it was a fair result and considring there were riders from all ova the world i think its very right to say that everyone was competeing at a world class level

  • tell me what is all ova the world for you? You think it is a key ti call it WFC?

I am sure the results are right as I respect the riders-judges who were there...even Leon there...so strange he does not compete)

  • leon was injured i think

  • He was, hes not riding for a bit...cant remember what he was saying as i was hammared but something baout his shoulder.

  • It is kinda step back from previous champs. I think you can not call it WORLD FREESTYLE CHAMPIONSHIP. By the way russia and siberia is one country. So stupied. That was a funny to watch Renny when he was asked about his world title. Of course he is a good rider but you know what i mean it is nothing to do with world title. maybe UK freetyle championship is enough for that kind of event?

  • ermmm if you were there you would have seen that all the people that won were the ones riding the best and most consistantly the whole day and they all deserved to win.

  • Well I an sure they are. But if you know the other fat faces there were totally different approach from organisers and level from riders. I just say it does not look kike WFC.. looks like the majority were from UK, i know it is up to guys from the rest of the world. But key there was right organisation i mean work with riders and invitations as well as conditions to compete. The park is excelent i mean the other things.i can tell you as i competed in WFC from 2003-04 well organised by atb mag.
