When i put headers and cam, i add stroker bottom end, injectors and many other things same time. So then i dont even try stock tune. If you add headers and really "small" cam, maybe it can work with stock tune.

I have a forged crank rods and pistons installed in the stock LT1 block. Block had to be notched to fit the stroker crank. I've got a big cam in it and an air gap Edlebrock intake on the way. Motor is still on the stand, I still need to get more parts and finish this up. I haven't gotten better injectors yet.

I have stock intake, but i have other stock intake and we plan to build that with longer runners. Throttle body in 58mm Edelbrock and injectors are 30 lb/hr.

the LT4 hot cam is simply the corvette LT counterpart to what the Fbody got, it isn't very big and since it costs the same as any other cam why get such a small one?? Why make as much power as a corvette when you can make more lol?? get something big or just more mild 230+ hot 280 at least or more.

LsXs are badass and beasts but the LT1 is a freakin Iron block ,they LOVE s/c and Nitrous and take very kindly to Stroker kits and any upgrades. I know a guy with a LT1 thats making 500 HP from new heads and a stroker kit. So hes put around 3 grand in it and its making 500HP?? sounds good to me!! The stroker also adds forged internals which means if you have your shit together you can put on a 150 shot. LT1s get a bad rap because everyone wants a LSx

the actual parts can cost 800-3000 for a stroker kit.you can assemble it yourself. All the coatings, boring if necessary and a few other things (P AND P YOUR HEADS!) wont run you much more. Its funny you pay ALOT for bolt ones but if you jsut take apart the engine and stroke it you can make twice the HP for 1/2 or 1/4 of the price.

No, bcoz redline is 6200rpm. Bottom end is balanced and crankshaft is "polish". And if want more rpm, then need bigger cam. And cant use bigger cam in Finland, bcoz have to pass emission;)
