  • In the end of the 60:s George and John were really good friends instead of Paul and John.

  • stop saying they're valentines, please D:

  • I think it's not bromance it's just that John saw Paul as his little brother so that's where the affection came from :)

  • amazingg video btw !! [;

  • I think they looked up to each other.. i wish i could have seen them in concert.

  • i almost cried where paul is wavinh outta the airplane ... idk why -/3

  • GREAT VIDEO..it really shows their friendship and how close they were.

  • Did anyone else pause and look at every picture and smile the whole time?

  • I'm not gay but I almost rape my best friend, while watching this!

  • @99paulmccartney That.. is only slightly creepy. Is your friend the same sex as you?

  • brotherly love........ =)

  • tbh i reckon they might of went out ,

  • 2:36

    Quick Paul run!

  • Golliwogg APPROVES of this song.

  • @GolliwoggMusic yea. now it's official.

  • Beatles throwaway songs became hits for other people... others were swimming in their wake, living off their crumbs.... Beatles had more talent than any one band could hold

  • God i love them, Poor Johnny

  • They were best friends, that is all they were. They also both had something very much in common songwriting and music.

  • they sound so weird in this song :( is ringo singing in the background? paul sounds almost like george but he isnt singing?? im confused

  • i see... the beatles. ok, i'll shut up, lol

  • I don't understand why so many want to paint the John/Paul relationship as borderline "gay" (i.e. "bromance"). They were highly creative/motivated people (john not so much later) who had distinct and very different personalities. John said some pretty nasty stuff about Paul in his early solo career - I wouldn't do that to a friend. The common bond between the two was music, and because they created so much of what we liked, we want to impose this "bromance" myth on them.

  • @greenwich1754 Linda does not approve of *your* John/Paul myth at 3 minutes. watch?v=hIn5JczIm4U

  • AT 2;09 WHY DOES GEORGE LOOK SO PISSED...I WATCHED THIS VIDEO TOO CLOSELY AND TOO MANY TIMES..LOL

  • Q: "If John Lennon could come back for a day, how would you spend it with him?"

    Paul: "In bed."

Phahahahahaha Paul paul paul!!! ...Can i come?!

  • I don't understand how some people say this is not one of their best.. Maybe not as popular but just as good...

  • best bromance ever :')

  • los amo! I love them!

  • at the beginning, that thing that John does to Paul. with his fingers crawling up Pauls arm to his face is just a tiny window into how close these guys became..it is so adorable....

  • Q Magazine - 1998

Q: "If John Lennon could come back for a day, how would you spend it with him?"

    Paul: "In bed."

    Me: "If only!"

  • Q Magazine - 1998

Q: "If John Lennon could come back for a day, how would you spend it with him?"

    Paul: "In bed."

    Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I love it. hahahaha.

  • 13 people didn see the right button

  • ...Am I the only one that can see John having a boy crush on Paul?

  • Okay total sap here. Have a lump in my throat after viewing this vid. Very, very sweet.

  • @DDslinky ...you said it...watching these 2 giants interact with each other is amazing, ..and so emotional, and part of that comes from knowing we will NEVER EVER SEE THE LIKES OF THEM AGAIN..EVER..

  • Ridiculous, yes Paul love John and John love Paul but it's a real friendship, that's all. Brothers like said the other one

  • @xdeathlyhallowx I always say that... I mean, "i love you" doesn't mean I wanna f*ck you lol. I mean, you love your parents don't you? You fall in love for someone you really like

  • Brothers

  • Stepping in from watching justin bieber clips I have to ask: who are these gentlemen? They seem to play nice music ,,,

By the way madonna is the greatest rock singer

  • @flexibartr GTFO

  • @lilgantz251 Shouldn't you say "Peace and Love" or something, just like Mr. Starkey and Mr. (Sir) McCartney do it frequently nowadays?

  • Awsome video!

    Love it:D

  • john and paul are in love

  • biggest and bestest bromance in history. I love the higest rated comments. Its so true and so beautiful. But as much as they may have loved eachother, it would be so wierd to see them kiss. just, wrong.

    ok, maybe a little cute?

  • @Msemospongebob It would bed weird to see them actually kiss. But whenever John hugged Paul on his way onto the stage that one time and he gave him a big smooch on the cheek, now that would be more adorable than puppies, babies, kittens, and the actual Beatles themselves combined.

  • @itsbridgetlogann soooooooooooo true <3

  • salt and vinegar

    cheese and onion

    lennon and mccartney

    the best of british

  • beautiful made this video with thoose short fragments in the end.

  • what was that at the beginning??????????

  • imbeciles and morons will always have something idiotically to notice, like the presumption that they were gay.hey maybe your father was gay too and your mom was in love with a snake.just maybe!

  • Comment removed

  • How utterly adorable are they? The biggest bromance EVER. My friend was watching this over my shoulder & yelled out "Geez, KISS ALREADY WILL YA?" LOL! There is a LOT we will never know that happened between these 2, but as a lifetime Beatles and Paul fanatic I absolutely believe they were in love with each other, absolutely. It has been described by Ringo & others close it was like a marriage, and J&P described the break up as a divorce. Tells you a lot. LOVE the vid. John❤ Paul❤ John

  • They beat the hell out of each other too, they loved each other, and we loved them, and the world is a little bit better place because of them.

  • "I was thinking about the way you are in life, and when you’re guys you goof around a lot, but you don’t actually sit down and say, ‘John, let me just tell you: I think you’re a terrific person, I think you’re a marvelous musician, and I really love you.’” Paul McCartney

  • e pensar que a musica foi rejeitada para a trilha sonora de Help! e considerada a canção mais fraca dos Beatles... LOVE BETATLES FOR EVER

  • where's the footage from 0:48 from?

  • @Simberloffian Shea Stadium

  • the BEATLES---WERE THE "BAND'"---THAT CHANGED THE WORLD----FOREVER--AND EVER---KISSES U--

  • true friends ...true love

  • When they said 'in bed' it doesn't necessarily mean what most of us think. Maybe they had better more relaxed conversations that way <-- i know it sounds weird, but what they had was bromance

  • FUCK OFF HATERS!!!... Who cares the BEATLES WERE AND ALWAYS BE THE BEST!!!

  • It doesn't matter to me if they were lovers or just really good friends... their relationship is special and even I can feel the love. The Beatles were way before my time but their partnership produced music that touches me and sticks with me.

I love the Lennon/Mccartney relationship, it's a very touching story to me.

  • Greatest Band of ALL time !!

    Bar none..

Even their songs that were not "hits", like TMWYS, would be any other bands best piece.

  • Their love is so PURE!

  • best bromance ever!! :)

  • ITS ONLY LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The two greatest geniuses of modern music.

  • The Beatles "less popular" songs are better than everybody else's best.

  • @WileERobby That's absolutely true. "I've just seen a face", "I will", "The ballad of John and Yoko", "Nowhere man", "If i needed someone" or "I'll follow the sun" for example are songs that are not considered among the most popular from the Beatles, and it would be a miracle if nowadays some band wrote them.

  • @WileERobby That is so true, in fact some of my favorite songs are their less popular ones. Everyone knows ones like I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Hey Jude, and Let it Be. But most people don't know great songs like Fixing a Hole, A Day in the Life or Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da!

  • @WileERobby i prefer beatles songs "less popular". i don't know what's my problem.

  • i love when john and paul randomly look at the same time when theyre playn together

  • the reason why they create good songs unlike other tandems. its because of their friendship and trust to each other.

  • Tell me what you see----------musical magicians The Beatles.

  • There dont seem to be too many bands doing this song....mine does

  • 1:13 best guitar solo, it is so nostalgic that it makes me cry

  • @wowkaren I think that's a keyboard, actually.

  • awwwwwwwwwww </3 best friends :')

  • 0:21

One of their most famous pictures, except this is a video from above it.

  • I actually FAIL to see

Fail to see how a song as awesome as this hasn't gotten the publicity it deserved.

  • I see 4 geniuses in a row

  • you cant be best friends with out love, and no doubt thats what they have, had. no matter what ever went on between them, they loved each other. thats what best friends do, and that never had changed.

  • @rollingstonesgirl99 absolutely...no doubt there was a genuine bond between them that was above and beyond being part of the Beatles...it was there before super stardom and surely remained afterwards...If they worked nightshift in a supermarket stacking shelves and they had a falling out after years working together no one would bat an eyelid....but this is Lennon and MacCartney we're talking about....

  • @armour999 exactly. its actually amazing how great friends they were and how easy going and humurous they were. they admitted it theirselves, when theyre all together, something clicked. it was a huge connection, and had john not been murdered, im sure they would have played again.

  • I love The Beatles

  • Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis had that, somewhat, same relationship.

  • tell me what you see wasent a game john and paul played??

  • it makes me sad

  • The bed comment may be because that is where, when they younger, John & Paul, wrote early songs. Or, as John would said, it means in bed! :) Nice video.

  • Almost perfect complementary intelligences. On that kind of a creative roll, one massive great piece of musical craft after another -- it's like the best part of a marriage. Sex wouldn't need to have anything to do with it. Even if it had, it would not be the central thing -- the creative force would be.

  • I see two great friends no matter if they had anything else, although I dont think anything else was there.

  • wow :)) i like it VERY much!!! great video, thank you! love Johnny and Paulie <33

  • John and Paul; I can't even begin to know what their relationship was. To an outside, me , it appears they were 2 sides of the same coin. During the mania, at least they all had each other to get them through it.

    Thanks for this video~

  • They were the best loookin Guys

at their time every single girl really

wanted them i think they got laid alot !

But The Beatles Were Great and

    Great Bromance!!

  • My theory is that no, they weren't gay, but it was more like sublimated desire for each other.

  • awwwe arent john and paul cute almost brothers?? THEYRE SUCH CUTE GUYS!! they were made for each other...THEY ARE A WHOLE and though johns somewhere else, paul will find him

oh and THY ARE NOT GAY!!

  • Whoever made this video is my hero for life.

  • i'm glad that paul mccartney doesn't see all this crap people are writing about him. he would be ashamed of all of you retards.

  • @Fab4Luvr Hmm, I wouldn't be so quick to speak on the man's behalf... Last year Howard Stern asked Paul on his show what he thought of the idea of John being supposedly in love with him and his reaction was (and I quote): "Well, I like that theory."

No, they probably didn't have a full-blown affair or anything but they were certainly in love on some level and who knows whether they ever acted on them feelings...it happens, you know!

  • you guys are all bastards for believing john and paul were gay lovers.. just pointing it out.

  • @Fab4Luvr hello, person iv never met. i would agree and and i would like to say you all SUCK! (expect for the people who have half a mind and dont belive the rumor that John and paul were gay) that is all

  • @Fab4Luvr true! totally true! i hate tha people think john and paul are gay!!! they were just close friends......i mean, ofcourse they were MORE than just friends, MORE than just brothers MORE THANSOUL MATES EVEN they were each other....they are a whole...but that doesnt meaned they were gay! :) nice video though

  • @pamcartney I agree with you, they were more than soul mates, they were more then best friends, they had such an amazing relationship that had nothing to do with all of this gay crap. They were more than 'Lovers.' Paul was like the missing half of John and John was the missing half of Paul. They were definately not even close to 'Gay Lovers.'

  • @Fab4Luvr LOL, well that's just Paul. Ofcoarse they were in love.. because they were brothers at heart. I would hate to say that everything you said is a load of crap but some of it is. Only the real Beatles Lovers can see the real Beatles themselves.

  • Aw beautiful friendship! They are not gay, they are good musicians and friends. Miss u John.

  • i'm sorry but no matter how much you say they're gay its just not true, John was married to Cynthia LENNON!!!! and Paul had Jane Asher then Linda Eastman!!!!! Paul+John = MUSICAL GODS .......NOT GAY

  • @Bazza598

But many homosexuals are married. No good argument ;)

  • @LenMasda well if he were gay why did he marry ono afterwards, and paul mccartney the same. Also you have to agree that they are music legends. I don't hate people who might have crushes on them, i just strongly believe that they weren't gay.

  • @Bazza598

Oh. I don't think that Paul and John were gay. Maybe John had bisexual tendencies. But who cares?

I just wanted to say, that a marriage isn't a proof for being straight.

  • @LenMasda agreed =)

probably the only arguement on youtube that has ever been resolved

  • La guerra de afgan, no se como me hizo, pero decia a mi mujer, si en el desierto existen culebras, existen los beatles , vaya polvo te pegue, es jodido no estar, no estar.

  • people of the same sex don't necessarily have to be gay to fall in love you know. Nothing is black and white, or simple, and this scares alot of people

  • @xdeathlyhallowx i totally agree, the Beatles aren't black and white!! SGT.PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND!!

  • @xdeathlyhallowx youre totally right.......besides, paul and john werent gay, but they had a deep love no one understands...not even WE understand it! they were lovers, brothers, friends, and soulmates! john and paul slept together (when they were in hamburg), ran together, talked together, played together, sang together, and LIVED THEIR LIFES together....Imean, john+paul= a whole

and I loved when you said "people of the same sex don't necessarily have to be gay to fall in love"

  • @pamcartney very true :)

  • @xdeathlyhallowx One of the best comments at Youtube! You're so damn right!♥

  • The final part is very sweet.

  • John said he have only two partners Paul Mccartney and Yoko Ono...this is the true

  • @ballaesmeralda really? when? that's an interview I'd like to read *-*

  • @KasyJames He said it when Playboy interviewed him in 1980 I think

  • @xdeathlyhallowx thanks, I'll check that interview then ;)

  • @ballaesmeralda this is the truth. learn to spell moron

  • @ballaesmeralda The truth is that The Beatles were prophets. This song has hidden messages in it. To learn what they are, search "truth contest" in Google and click on the 1st result. Then, open The Present and read the section about The Beatles.

  • @vividDC i've finished reading that

  • Celio Marcuci I sing it with my name. Cell you Mar cu ciiiii I love it

  • I hate how Yoko tells everyone that John never liked Paul. That's the biggest BS ever. These guys were as close as you could get back in the late fifties to late sixties.

  • @LaurenAnyone EVEN THOUGH I HATE YOKO WITH A PASSION. I'm pretty positive that is not true. I saw an interview of Paul where he was asked about his friendship with John, and he said that when John died, Yoko told him how much John loved him, so that shows to me that what you said is FALSE.

  • @Gentlejoker22 Really? I read in either George or John's biography that Yoko said John had more of a bond with George, and only a very strong work relationship with Paul. Maybe she was just saying that to Paul after John's death to be nice? I don't know... maybe we're both right or wrong... with Yoko ANYTHING could have happened. :P

  • @LaurenAnyone George and John had a "better" relationship after taking acid together at the dentists house.

paul and john's relationship never faultered... george and john just got better.

  • @MrWrighthand True. George always said that the dental experience made John and him very close. And I guess the fact Paul waited so long before trying LSD made him kind of "out of the loop" for a while.

I love discussing Beatle-related things with people that actually know about the Beatles. :)

  • @LaurenAnyone Haha me too, good comment.

  • @LaurenAnyone Yoko is a cunt. Always was, always will be.

  • john and Paul ....one soul

  • Well, im not gonna say they were in love with each other, but they had a very emotional attachment with each other. as far as im concerned, the most they had was a strong brotherly love.

  • great song¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • wish you wouldn't have put the extra song clips at the end.

  • Everyone who is saying they were gay, really? When Paul responded "in bed," he was joking. And quoting YOKO on how John felt towards Paul is not something you do, seeing how Yoko is a crazy b*tch. So please, these two men were straight and they had wives and children with those wives.

  • @beatlesfreak329 He wasn't joking. Read interviews, watch them on youtube, and you'll see that Paul misses John a lot. He regularly dedicates portions of his concerts to him. As for Yoko, I don't see why she would lie about that, because she's always been trying to make it seem like she was the only person John ever actually cared about, so for her to say that seems quite telling, to me. Also, just being married doesn't mean anything. They could have been bi, or simply in love with each other.

  • @raegoat So when two men say they deeply care about each other, they're gay? Wow, that is really prejudice and shallow.

  • @beatlesfreak329 I didn't say that, did I? Of course men can care about each other without being gay for each other. But, looking at all the available evidence, I don't think that's the case with John and Paul. Maybe it was sexual, maybe it wasn't. I don't know, and I don't particularly care. But it was romantic. Romantic doesn't always equal sexual.

I suggest you learn more about sexuality and love than just straight and gay. Not everything falls in that spectrum.

  • @raegoat I think you need to be telling this to the thousands of people who said they were "butt buddies" I was defending the fact that two men can love each other without being gay.

I suggest you learn to read.

  • @beatlesfreak329 I doubt John and Paul had " intimate relations " with one another. Now, John and Brian Epstein ( who was gay ) might be a different story. So, theres the rumor, lads. Well, we will never really know, anyway. It dont matter to me one way or the other cause I just love their music to pieces !! PEACE...

  • @beatlesfreak329 Maybe they were, maybe they weren't. I don't know, and I don't care. You suggested that's what I was saying. It wasn't, so I answered you. It isn't a question of reading comprehension.

Can I ask you a question? Would it matter if they were gay? Would it somehow invalidate their music or make them any less good as song writers and musicians? Why do you care if they were or weren't? What does it matter? I'm just asking because you seem to get up in arms whenever it's suggested.

  • @raegoat No, it wouldn't matter. People have a right to express their sexuality, Since it is already known that they weren't gay, why do people still claim they were? I was defending the fact that two men can care deeply about each other without being gay, a fact that more than half of America needs to realize.

  • @beatlesfreak329 Not you in particular, by the way. Just people, the ones like you who immediately jump to their defense whenever the subject is brought up.

  • I see the most beautiful bromance ever.

  • and in case they were gay what about it? If they were a couple what do we care? (and I'm not saying they were)

  • I LOVE THE HARMONY MIX JOHN A PAUL SING IN THE SONG I PLAY THE GUITAR I LOVE PLAY IS SONG

  • Where is the first clip from? At 0:00 to 0:08? Great vid, btw. I love John/Paul! <3

  • "Q Magazine - 1998

Q: "If John Lennon could come back for a day, how would you spend it with him?"

    Paul: "In bed." "

He was obviously KIDDING, people! Let's calm down.

Is there not one person on the internet to have ever known two straight guys who were practically brothers?

That's what these two were: PRACTICALLY BROTHERS, NOTHING MORE. No more of this hidden-meanings-about-their-love-for-each-other-in-their-songs crap.

  • Lol, if anyone sees this video and doesnt know anything about the Beatles, or who they are, there gonna think its a video about two gay people.. Haha, I love this song though, and of course i know there obviously not gay. Anyways, now that we're on the subject of gay people, id like to say that its ridiculous how in our society today, people are always so homophobic, and two guys cant just be good friends without everyone around them thinking there gay...

  • Great video. But I still don't think they were gay. haha

  • this is awesome

  • i love them when they show affection to each other . i love them both and all the beatles very much.

  • i wouldn't be surprised if yoko was a bit bewildered at john's feelings about paul after the split. the two definitely seemed to be obsessed with each other enough to have such acrimonious reactions in public. the thing is, people don't fight like that unless there's DEEP feeling involved, it was obviously a personal thing btw them. she HAD to have picked up on their connection, linda did and she was only around since '68 as well. for both of them to realize their closeness at that point must

  • @marielapenn

Have you read Phillip Norman's book about John? I haven't read the whole thing, but there are passages in there where he says that Yoko thought that John might have been in love with Paul at some point, and that she heard people around the studio referring to Paul as "Lennon's Princess." I have no idea what Linda thought, or if she was aware of whatever it was that might have happened with them.

  • @raegoat Yoko was suspicious of anyone with whom John had an emotional or creative tie because that meant their influence might challenge hers.

  • @bookkeeper57

True, but...Yoko didn't assert that John was in love with *George* and wanted to sleep with *him*, right? Whether she was correct in her assumptions or not, Yoko pegged Paul as a major threat to her relationship with John largely BECAUSE of her belief that John's feelings for Paul were much, MUCH deeper than people realized.

I suspect John's telling her that he'd considered having an affair with Paul might have given her a clue as well. :)

  • @wobby1 I repeat: you can have an intense relationship with a person of either sex, that is not necessarily sexual. We are known by the choices we make. There were never fewer than two women in the lives of either man. As for Yoko, a mediocre artist and gold digger who resented the close artistic partnership of genuine talents; especially if it excluded her on any level. She wanted to own Lennon, body and soul.

  • the beatles= the best band ever!

check out my cover of this song(:

  • if you have friends your really close too you'll do these kinds of things, i should know, i have 2 friends i'm real close to and very comfortable with, we mess around like they are all the time
