  • nice save man I love your ditch up the embankment around the other stopped/spun out cars. Good Job, and holy shit there is a freight train semi coming through at .16 second.

its almost looked like the edge driver punched it see if he could power out of the slide but failed.

  • Nice quick reaction and you did the right thing to get the fuck out of the way. Wish there was more rational drivers like you, and skilled.

  • good job dude on avoiding an accident. Loving driving in snow myself just hate the people around me that can't

  • What an amazing video! Well done!

  • If you were like "Fuck fuck fuck" imagine what was the truck driver saying :P

  • You are one lucky SOB and your car is even luckier !! Nice Drivin' !!

  • vwump vwump vwump vwump, sounds awesome!

Lucky you didnt turn right after avoiding the first car or that truck would have got you.

  • But still...nice driving!

  • "Weather was the cause for this accident" Yeah right, how about next time you and all the other retards who drive so fucking fast in so bad conditions, would just slow down? If you cant even closely bring your car to stop on visible part of the road, then you just are driving too fast!

  • @Pippala Driving slower may have prevented his particular incident, but people stopped on the road are to blame for this one... He handled the situation extremely well, which is more than anyone can say for those who just decided to camp out in the middle of a highway during a snow storm. Classic example of people not thinking a step ahead...

  • Handled yourself very well and managed to avoid getting into something serious; you've been properly educated on driving. I also agree that you should not put yourself in any danger by trying to render aid or even attempting to leave your vehicle in those conditions. While it is technically unlawful to leave the scene of any accident (as a witness or being directly involved), I'm going on the assumption that you did at least notify the authorities.

  • i want to punch who ever was driving in the flex. what a retard!!!!!! that looked at least 40mph.

  • /watch?v=cPTvEghQn78

  • I don't even see people putting their WARNING LIGHTS ON ! And I must say with this kind of visibility you where driving to fast.

  • Scarry.

  • Damnnnn, i thought i was in the car for a sec because even i was cussing lol

  • Come to Florida! People here don't have common sense ever, but at least there's no snow!

  • this is fake and gay stop wasting my time

  • Great save nice driving!

  • by the looks of the tires you had on, 15 below limit definitely wasnt enough

  • 15 below the speed limit in that weather is NOT good enough. You should have been going much slower.

  • I want a EVO...now! haha...great driving! and thank god anything happened to you!

  • Good save, but it was too fast for conditions, especially ice.

  • Comment removed

  • Great fucking driving. I even had to swear for emphasis. Hardcore. Brilliant decision and good execution. Well done

  • Good save man, screw the bs, you saved the car and didnt hit anyone. That was just good defensive driving.

  • poor evo, i bet my balt would take it

  • Great truck driving skills there.

  • Holy SHIT! Glad youre okay man! Whew.

  • far out thats crazy!

  • Average weather, if you're a norwegian

  • Nicely done and in the right for getting out of harm's way. Well played. I'm sure that pile up got a lot worse before the cops showed. Recording in those conditions is also a good idea for insurance purposes. The world needs more drivers like you.

  • Nice driving, and very lucky! I live in New England and we get weather (well usually) like this all the time. Either there are idiots who go too slow and get stuck, or too fast and get stuck. There's nothing worse than driving along at 6 mph because some *B*tch decides she's scared then stops in the middle of the highway. Then there's Joe Jock who flies by in his 4x4 at 80 and gets stuck in the snow bank! Ive had 6 hour commutes for 30 mile drives because of this! I agree don't block the road!

  • Nice driving man!!! :-)

  • I am going to call that a Rally Special stage. Nice work in not getting hit, or hitting anybody.

  • No dude you escaped because you can drive, you have reflexes and you have a good car. Don't bother about all the people complaining here. they most likely have shit cars and shitskills. you were right to pass on the side and stop somewhere were you were protected by the cars already crashed. altough like with that semi you never know. conclusion: nice driving!

  • he was lucky because he was in an EVO.

  • Like a boss. The guy in the Evo is a damn good driver.

I was shitting bricks when that semi flew by.

  • Fair play you reacted well, although maybe you where going a bit fast as ideally you should always be able to stop in the distance you can see in front of you.

  • @eatmydustdusteaters Also people schould not stop in the middle of the highway.

And to the other ignorant Americans here, by going out of the crash zone he put himself and probably others out of harms way. Even if it's law to stop and check, it's also a law that tells you to don't make an safety risk for himself or other drivers, by gettting out of the road, he made the route open for other drivers with the same skills to get away safely without crashing into him

  • Why were they all stopped?! It's just a bit if snow!!!!!

  • no hazard lights on No rear fog lights on

  • It's funny everyone think they're the best driver in the world. It's so easy talking crap in front of a computer. crazyzer0 probably has more tracking experience than most of you. You can scream luck all you want but crazyzer0 got out of there with just minor damage. (Nice driving btw) Probably all of you arm chair racers won't be so lucky in the same situation.

PS. Stay the fuck off the road if your car isn't immobilized.

  • @crazyzero I was trying to defend you not criticize you, should have said at or below speed limit .

  • @Sierrapup24 R we watching the same video here? Did you see what happened? Did i hit anyone? NO. Where should i have stopped? On the side of the road? I could have been killed by that truck by stopping. I might be going fast but that was way under the speed limit. look at the truck that came flying from the back. This isnt like any other accident. I might not be here to talk about it if i stopped on the road. And I would have created MORE accidents. possibly killing people by slamming into me.

  • @crazyzer0 yeah a bit harsh perhaps.

1: you were going too fast for the conditions.

2: you oboviously don't need to be told that now, I'm sure you're well aware and have learnt that lesson.

3: other people do need to think about that though as countless drive too fast in such low visibility and low-grip situations. not a good combination.

4: nicely avoided given the circumstances, well done.

5: holy shit that truck almost killed you!

  • @Sierrapup24 - shaddap ya tit

  • Look at all the ignorant judgemental people on here! He seems to be going to fast to all of you, but if he was doing the speed limit and felt safe then who are you to judge his abilities? The accident came out of nowhere !!

  • @squishyone70 Accidents like this come out of driving too fast to stop in the distance you can see to be clear. Simple.

  • @squishyone70 I was driving 15 below the speed limit! It just looks fast with snow in my face. On the other hand, That Semi was doing the speed limit.

  • @squishyone70 those are no conditions to be driving at the speed limit. a sensble maximum speed for any given conditions is one from which you can stop in the available visibility. Clearly not the case in this bid for the drivers involved. not having a pop at the guy (see above post) but even he was going too fast if he couldn't stop in time. That said he was lucky (mixied with a bit of skill no doubt) and in this case had he stopped on the road that truck prob would have killed him! lucky

  • Lesson here is SLOW DOWN ASSHOLE.

  • You're an asshole and you were going too fast for conditions.

  • @Sierrapup24 i was not distracted by the radio. ford flex was. my reaction time allowed me to react in time. like i said in the description i let go of the gas instead of slamming on the brakes to keep the car in control. I had enough time to realize that braking was not an option unlike the Ford. And really? STOP AND CHECK? Do you not realize that people like you who stop in the middle of highway is the reason why this accident was caused in the first place? Please stay off the road.

  • @crazyzer0 If you can't stop in the distance you can see to be clear, you are driving to fast for the conditions.

  • @crazyzer0 props to you man you handled yourself well, did the evo have any scratches?

  • @Sierrapup24 Dude take a running start and jump into a volcano. Your condescending comment is beyond stupid. Get the fuck off your high horse and get some common sense. If you don't already know the answers to your questions you should stay the fuck off the roads...

  • @Sierrapup24 go fuck yourself you have no fucking idea what happened. get a fucking clue

  • Black ice? We call it snow...duh. Nothing like driving too fast for conditions, then blaming someone else.

  • The driver/uploader calls other people irresponsible (they are), but so is the guy driving. He's driving WAY to fast for the weather conditions.

  • haha! In america 1cm with snow is dangerous in America... They cant even handle 1cm... American people have to buy winter tires and be more prepared for snow

    Sorry for my bad english

  • @Overvaag1997 The Idiocy from this comment. It's unbearable.

  • @Woghekak Is it?

  • @Overvaag1997 It is. But let's not blame the 15 year old dutch kid for being immature.

  • @Overvaag1997 Yes. That's exactly why I made the comment. Being 15, I'm sure you just have so much driving experience under your belt. Enough to comment and criticize an entire regions population lol.

  • @Woghekak Im 12 ;) But the comment wasent just to the Americans, but i assume that this video is American, so thats why im like "hating" against them.

But sorry if I said something that isnt right..

  • @Overvaag1997 Wait. So in your original comment, you were making fun of Americans. Now you say that it wasn't just to Americans. Yeah you should probably stop commenting on videos.

  • Too fast, your lucky you didnt kill anybody

  • there is nothing "black" about that ice... you were on ice and you knew it, and going far too fast for conditions considering the visibility was horrible (from my own experience with recording video while driving I find visibility is better in the recorded video than what I see with my eyes so that pretty much says visibility was worse than what we see in your video). Just about every person in that video was an idiot including the person that recorded it.

  • I don't understand why people insist on driving that fast in such conditions. They're just asking to get in an accident.

It's like this. Suppose that visual and weather conditions are so that if something suddenly appears in front of you, you have two seconds to see it, react and slow down/swerve to avoid hitting it. Then you slow down so you have at least three seconds to react. How hard is that?

  • As for the other people on the road, I don't care HOW bad conditions are. YOU DO NOT STOP IN THE HIGHWAY. Pull off to the breakdown lane or median. Whatever the case, DONT BLOCK THE ROAD.

  • That's how traffic forms, accidents happen, and it's HOW PEOPLE DIE. You passed a drivers test.... be intelligent and stop acting like you just got your license at Walmart!

  • People are right. You were cocky with your car, or just enjoy speed. I suffer from the same thing driving a Mitsu 3kgt with 420AWHP, although I'm used to the snowy conditions (not saying it makes it right or I'm any better.) I will say, you did right to think clearly, find a gap, and not brake, although it still cost you. 2 things I will say.. 1) glad that ford hit that van first as the truck would have killed someone at that speed. 2) if you did right, that truck would've still hit you anyways.

  • Comment removed

  • @no1freestyler while you make a decent point about hypocrisy here, you take it to an arrogant and childish level. Thats why people keep down voting your comments

  • Good thing it's an Evo lol, at least it gave you a bit more traction than those FF drives.

  • I call this video: "Why I assume everyone around me has never seen snow every first couple of snowfalls in the winter."

Great job avoiding worse damage, OP. But you WERE going too fast for conditions... glad you made it out safe this time. =)

  • @Jabhill26 And on the video you can clearly see that he tries to slow down way too late and probably just panics and slams the brakes. Get snow tires, brake early and light to moderately and you'll be fine like all the other drivers who didn't plow into each other.

  • @Jabhill26 Totally agree, I hate how this guy tries to blame all the drivers who managed to safely stop without slamming into the people in front of them for him and the Flex driver being idiots speeding through low visibility conditions like that. And I'm more than a little suspicious that he didn't have snow tires on even given those conditions. Likely one of the many idiots out there who think that having AWD means you can magically brake better in snow.

  • This is why I hate snow driving...not because of the actual driving itself, but because of idiots like this.

  • Even if this guy would have stopped he would have just been rear-ended by that semi truck.

  • way to leave the scene of an accident, then upload proof on youtube

  • @ligyro He wasn't involved in the accident, he didn't collide with any other motor vehicles, so he can do what he wants. He avoided all of the standing cars and got out of the way unlike the rest of the retards who waited there to get rear ended.

  • I drive in this stuff all the time and would NEVER imagine going that fast. Those cars are a giant obstruction in the road that you could have easily seen and avoided if you took road conditions and visibility into account before mashing the accelerator. The damage to your vehicle is your fault.

  • You saved it like a pro!!! Well done man!!! Fantastic reflexes in such short time...

  • I think the lesson learned should be: Get winter tires. It's mandatory for a reason in most of Europe.

  • @Holden2490 Ya your right. If that Ford hadn't rear ended that Volkswagen that truck would have destroyed it:

  • good driving :)

  • Boy I'm glad you got out of that pile-up safe. Did that truck take anyone out?

  • @CPWindsorsub It looks like the car next to him at the beginning cleared a path for the truck to go through

  • Comment removed

  • Lesson here is: don't drive a totally tricked out EVO in shitty ass weather and hope that people know how to drive. It's NOT going to happen. Next time you won't be so lucky and you'll hit someone.

  • Dude, major props to your driving, you handled that situation like a champ. Glad that semi didn't hit you or anyone else (it seems), that likely would've killed you

  • hülyegyerek, minek kell 100km/h-val vezetni rossz látási körülmények, és útviszonyok mellett...

  • I was about to say those tires look kind of slick but then I read description. Most people would shit their pants when they come up on something like that with such low visibility and a fucking rig bombing it behind you. He came out pretty clean all things considered.

  • guarantee that was a chick driving the ford flex. stupid bitch almost killed someone. women should not have licenses

  • @ook3vin are you muslim?

  • This dude has mad skills. He was probably going a bit too fast too begin with given the conditions imo but he pulled off an amazing avoidance maneuver.

  • @no1freestyler does it really look like a camera was strapped to my hand? its called a dash cam

  • @no1freestyler that's the most retarded comment in the history of comments.. you clearly lack common sense :l

  • @no1freestyler idiot

  • pro as fuck

  • you have to drive on snowpack and ice for 6 months a year to know that snow tires would have honestly saved you right there.

  • Great driving you handled it well !!

  • good reaction, and the handling of a rally car came to good use xD

  • if that car had not crashed into the other car at 0:09 and moved it the big rig that passes by at 0:16 would of definetly done some serious damage, some times the worst things that happen to us are the best things that could happen.

  • @skinnyblackmeni that is an excellent observation

  • Nice Evo! Poor Flex :(

  • @crazyzer0 good driving skills, good reaction i meant to say, you were driving bit too fast for my liking tbh.

  • fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck is right motha fucka

  • check out that big rig damn

  • holy shit thats crazzy as fuck, specially when ur stoned :)

  • nice driving, and you see that ford flex all crumpled and that truck comes out of nowhere!

  • Beautiful idle.

  • Nice driving bro.

  • clean ass evo, the ugliest wheels i've ever seen

  • Seriously. If you're gonna stop cuz you don't wanna drive in weather like that at least pull over. And if you can't pull over turn on your hazards and if you have them set up road flares. That's what I would do.

  • :( bye bye lip

  • people stop because that is what they are trained to do and don't have the common sense to clear an interstate

  • anyone notice the damn good driving of the truck, much harder to stop/maneuver those

    regardless of the speed

  • Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX saves the day

  • 500 hp lol , stop beating it ya pull hard

  • Dangerous driving, you got lucky, with a little bit of skill, granted. How can you drive on a road at that speed, in that visibility (100 yards or so) and not be able to stop within your sight distance??? It's just asking for trouble!

The conditions came out of nowhere, you had plenty tome to slow down, its quite simple...

  • Finally someone who gets it! If there's snow or ice on the road you don't fucking park your car in the middle of it!

  • Fairplay you did well to find a gap.

  • Holy crap! That mustve been scary. Glad you and the evo made it out safe.

  • Weather is not the cause of the accident.

The cause of the accident is driving too fast for the weather conditions.

You survived, because as the driver of a performance car, you probably have a better reaction and response capability than the average Joe in his/her stodge-mobile.

  • @nlo114 Are you serious? Driving a "performance car" doesn't make a good driver. A good driver wouldn't drive that fast with these kind of snowy conditions.

  • Close one

  • winner = Evo IX

  • i know 1 thing.

they didn't know what is it, snow and ice on road hahah

  • ufff....!!

  • In the description it clearly says. CONDITIONS were fine 15 seconds before the storm. And if your no stranger to Bad snow storms, You know they come out of nowhere!

  • Good he didnt try to rear end a semi truck

  • SAVE OF THE DAY! thank god your okay! and your evo

  • I agree with some of the other comments on here... You were driving way too fast for the conditions. In fact, you could have gotten a ticket for that in PA. You need to be able to stop in a situation just like that. You obviously weren't able to stop. Good job avoiding the cars, but you should've never had to do that in the first place.

  • Wow, props to you for getting out of that safely and PROPS to that semi-driver who maneuvered through the traffic at 40+ mph!

  • wow

    cool

    =)

glad u managed to steer out of it with the least possible damage taken i guess

i add my own film i almost hit the car in winter conditions too a few days ago

it's not as visual as yours but just to see how a second without focusing on the road can cause in such a harsh conditions

    glad you are ok !

  • DAMNN..

  • Niceee savee! Glad you all good and the evo didn't get hurt too bad. Love the rims

  • lucky man :)

  • I'm amazed the lorry didn't hit anything. Did it go through the gap caused by the SUV rear-ending that other car? Might be a lucky escape there.

  • God you are a beast... Putting that car to use unintentional rally cross and all

  • Sick fucking car man!

  • thumbs up and favorite

  • You lucky...but GOING TOO FAST!!! RELAX.

  • Wow that 18 Wheeler could have done MORE DAMAGE!!!

  • Like a boss.

  • ...that was Scary!...glad you made out safe...

  • looks like your "snow" mode worked fucking perfect. lol

    Evos are the best.

  • well done! hope I know to get out of the way like that if it happens to me!

  • Sick ass evo love the rims

  • I've got to say for the conditions I feel you were driving too fast. On the other hand my R32 GTR is fantastic in the snow, AWD FTW!!. Top driving skills on the escape though.

  • dude you got skills......

  • you handled it well. idiot drivers cause most accidents.

  • Lucky for that silver suv, the flex hit him instead of the 18 wheeler

  • dude props for saving that sick looking evo of yours man. all those 143 retards that didnt like this video were the ones that couldnt avoid the accident lol... damn man when that truck flew by, it made ME almost shit bricks lol

  • That was awesome driving dude! to miss all that and not hit anybody! My hats off to you. sorry about your tire thou it could have been way worse! I would take that any day!

  • That was quick thinking... I'm gonna remember that next winter... It's my first year of driving so it might be useful ;)

  • Excellent response time/control. I'm surprised how well the tires held on for being non-winter. Anything broken/bent underneath the car?

  • fuck fuck fuck fuck FUCK!

  • RayWilliamJohnson?

  • @0:50 see how ur cars engine is like .. how do i put this .. making a pulsing sound ? is that standard on evo's? cause that sounds awesome !

  • @TehAussieRunescaper That sound was because the tire had come of the rim, it wasn't engine noise.

  • @sashaalx03 nah it is his engine cause if u look at his "snow drifting " video it has the same noise while it is just stopped :)
