When I was a kid in the 80's we only had 2 tv channels, and only one ever played cartoons, and only from 3pm until 5pm weekdays, and Sunday mornings when I had to go to church - AND only if there was no Cricket tests on - so I only recognised about a dozen of these as the rest we just never got here! Now my boys have 6 different channels of 24 hours dedicated cartoons and kids shows to choose from straight off the satellite, and even more on the internet. How times have changed.

I hate to admit this but I knew of 43 of these. Some I miss; others...not so much. I was in college during the last 3-4 years of that glorious decade we so affectionately call "The 80's" so didn't quite have the time to watch cartoons as much back then. However, since I had younger siblings, nieces, nephews & cousins, I was forcefully kept up-to-date; LOL! It was good going back for a few minutes. Thanks for posting.

Problem with a lot of society today and shows are they just make kids grow up to fast. I was born in the 80s and it was amazing growing up and always being excited to wake up to cartoons and junk food lol. Kids today dont know what they missed, and you wonder why there more depressed and act so grown up and at there age now i was still acting like a kid in a candy store. I wasn't born in the 80's (I'm a 90's lad), and half of these cartoons I remember. H.K. Phooey was one of the best. The Snorks and the Smurfs are always together. Garfield's gone WAY over the boundaries now, don't you think? Looney Tunes was fantastic, even today, I still enjoy watching it. I remember the Berenstain Bears as well, which was... quite interesting. Captain Caveman was awesome as well. Pacman is fantastic also. Didn't really like Transformers, but Snoopy was good. Used to love them!

This is awesome, I remember 43 of them..... I wish they would bring these cartoons back due to the fact these cartoons we grew up with had meaning and morals. Todays generation is totally lost and don't know what awesome cartoons are. I remember getting up every saturday morning grab a bowl of cereal and glued to the tv until my mother got up. Compare it to this generation where the child gets up in the morning and just gets into stuff....... I wish I could go back about 22 years. I LOVE IT
