In nine days, on Friday, May 13th, at least three members of the Green Party will perform a Dharna for Bank of America at the corner of Trade and Tryon in downtown Charlotte NC. We hope for many more, so if you know anyone in the Charlotte area, please let them know. We begin at 2:30 and run until 5 or we are told "move or be arrested". All peaceful folks are welcome to join, regardless of party.

as for your "break them up" solution for the banks that have been deemed "too big to fail"; I'd rather we just let them fail; not confiscate property etc. In other words, let there be justice. The fact that you or I can go broke and not get bailed out while others that are richer do get a bailout, means there is no justice in this system.

Problem is that images of that sort of action can be manipulated by the media to make us look like thugs as well as you open it up to agent provocateurs. Not to mention I refuse to be violent. The method that I am subscribing to is very difficult to make wrong.
