After all, if someone said it was 15 miles from New York City to LA, you might consider it, but it would take more than their say so to make you believe it. We have a little thing called "standards of evidence."

Additionally, if there were any actual therapeutic benefit from crystals and someone denies that knowledge to modern science, they are pretty cruel in my book.

Crystals can be cleansed by putting them in water with simple kitchen salt for 24 hours. Nothing else is necessary.

A second way to clean crystals is to use pranic healing techniques.

A third way is to place crystals in the sun for a day, outside. The air and sun will synerchetically clean the crystals.

1). sea salt is better, not the kitchen salt. some people would prefer running water, or some natural water(like river's)

2). Some crystals can not put under the sun for a long time, so.. not all can be placed under the sun. However, some people would put it under the moonlight.

I also heard you touch it to a piece of SELENITE or carnelian for 24 hours. that's all u need to do. anyone else hear of selenite?... I got a huge selenite lamp for this purpose then suddenly I stopped hearing about it.. now every one is saying carnelian or quartz clusters..... ??

Some crystals will react badly to salt as it is corrosive, and as some crystals contain water it can change the colour by absorbing and dehydrating the crystal.

Moonlight is the best way, full Moon not waxing moon.

Sun is not a good way as too strong ,hot and will cook the crystal.
