  • Awesome! This never fails to raise my spirits, all these good people playing together. And Chaka Khan's hair and earrings! MEGA!

Henry Ford detailed it...Look it up in his

    'The International Jew'

  • my sweet lord this has to be the greatest blues jam ive ever heard

  • can anyone give me the name of a video with Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Clapton both playing together live? I wanna see the both of them jamming together with actual footage not just a sound file but real video too I've looked everywhere and can't find one :(

  • Are you talking about the one where they're playing "Before you accuse me"? If that's the one you mean, I don't think there is video for that one.

  • Why I sing the Blues...

    B.B. King& Friends

Recorded Live on Ebony Showcase Theater in Los Angeles. B.B. King make a resume of his career with a super stars guests like, Paul Butterfield, Stevie Ray vaughan, Eric Clapton, Dr. John, Phil Collins, Etta James, Billy Ocean, Albert King, Glady's Night, etc..

    ...Epic....

  • its the first time i can see eric clapton and stivie together

  • o.0 boy i wish i was one of his friends

  • that was sone line up

  • yes Zack, Butterfield is up there among them, and rightly so. I just can't describe what a thrill it is to see these greats playing together. Talk about gettin chills, man.

  • Man, what I wouldn't give for that Flyin' V

  • R.I.P SRV. Best ever!

  • where's buddy guy??

  • No one notices Butterfield? He was a star.

  • @ZackPomerleau harmonica man. I notice. x

  • Phil Collins is such a random guy

  • Fantastic jam session

  • Cause Clapton is a good blues player who on a good night is among the best that is why.

  • PAHAHA alex you're ridiculous...

  • because he is great blues man and he is one of big causes why white people play and listen blues too and because most of all you are a fuckin idiot

  • he is a overrated guitar player and a drug diler...SRV , Johnny Winter, Gary Moore are way better than Clapton and they are also white and Claptons influence is not so big among thouse who know something about music...

  • well first of all I dont know if he is a drug dealer or a serial killer (and I dont think u know it either) and honestly I dont give a fuck, cuz Im interested in his music, secondly everyone has its own taste but its naive to compare blues legends to each other sayin that one is shit and the other one is great(blues is not rap) and finally even though Im not a musician I think hes a very influenced man from young blues artists

  • well my taste is not the same is yours and Im not trying to change anyones, and I was only naming some of the artists because i read a comment about white people listening to blues because Clapton is white and thats not true...sorry but i never liked Clapton...

  • Look at the solo from the Crossroads 2004 version of I shot the sheriff

  • this is epic!!!!!!

  • unbelieveble cast haha, Clapton and SRV at the same time to the front wauw:D

  • haha Phil Collins..

  • wauw greats stars :D

  • my god

ey do any of you know what the name to this concert or like if it is on DVD or something

    cuz i fucking need this

  • I have never posted a comment before but felt like I had to after listening and watching this video. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!, for sharing. What a wonderful reminder of how grateful I am to see and hear - for technology, for God, and for the opportunity to experience such awesome performances...

  • Whoever posted this, THANK YOU! I've been watching a grainy VHS tape my parents dubbed of HBO back when this first aired! THANK YOU!

  • albert king! the left-handed blues genius;)

  • its a blues orgy imagine the cost of the tickets for that

  • SRV's Number One kicks everybody's else ass

  • canım o nasıl bi ceket ya :p

  • And the one guy no-one mentions is Albert King, the scary guy at the back with the upside-down V.

  • its not upside-down

  • It's strung upside down if you notice.

  • BB mentions him at the begining.

  • I would have given ANYTHING to be there!!!

    Just plain orgasmic!!

  • Ride the pony!!! Man they were way down in the groove like a big ol' smokin train. God bless those that are there but are now gone. It was a great night at The Albert Hall a few years ago BB, so glad you liked my poem, and it was a real thrill to meet with you for a while. The thrill still has not gone!

  • damn i am a big fan of SRV i think he deserved his own solo SRV blues rules

  • maybe he was humble enough to understand that in the prescense of all of these legends, he is not the above all best.

  • that's the blues

  • This video is amazing, but i think SRV and Eric Claptons duet is terrible....

    love SRV's tone though

  • i swear the only thing they're missing is Jimi but then again i dont think hendrix would've let anyone else playing after he started, nontheless this is classic

  • fantastic

  • I find it hilarious that EC and SRV are paired up with their biggest influences. That is far too much awesome for one stage

  • Czyż nie widac, że przyjaciele?

    Pozdrawiam

  • Gladys has a great voice

  • omg, at 230 listen to clapton play and then when you see and hear SRV play a few licks, the difference in tone blows me away, srv was tha man. i love clapton toot tho

  • yeah your right , but its great to see these 2 together on stage . Unfortunatly they just play a few licks ... love to see more videos with clapton and stevie

  • Agree there. Just an example of how overrated EC is. I'm glad he brought the blues to a big audience, for that I respect him. For the rest he's a not so great copy of the 3 King's

  • You're wrong man....in this same concert he plays The Thrill Is Gone with BB and he is definetly GREAT! Clapton is God.

  • ...definitely sorry

  • This version of the thrill is gone you are talking about is one of the worst I've heard. Clapton seems to be a bit lost in it and throws random licks in there....which don't go with the song. He kind of disrupts the flow of the song. Even the version with Gary Moore is better, he changes it around without hurting the song. I'm no Clapton hater by the way, just don't find him "God".

  • well keep in mind that round this time eric was still havin trouble with alcohol.

You really didn't like that version? i found it fabulous. clapton's licks aren't random, they're spontaneous. but whatev, we all got opinions dude

  • He plays the same licks bb does after him...with his sound and style unique, the duet is stellar. He's one of the best ever. Yeah you don't find him God...and the rest of the world does..sorry for you ;)

  • 2:30...maybe the best moment in Blues history that I've ever seen. Eric Clapton and SRV soloing with each other.

  • a rare moment in music history... to have so much talent in one place at one time... everyone shines!

  • exactly. Amazing.

  • nada mejor que esto

  • i need a beer

  • fuck me there's some talent on that stage stevie ray you should have had a solo you would have kicked claptons arse.

  • hell yes

  • One of my all time favourite videos. Thanks for sharing!

  • @ 2:49,the EMPRESS, Miss Gladys Knight,no matter what she sings, her voice is so rich, clear, powerful and soulful!!!!

  • thanks texasp1!!!! i cant send you a msj!!! pretty cool

  • Thanks simonblues.

  • @simonblues29 There's no nationality for the good music. This is a good probe.

  • Am in agreement with AreYouExperiencedJH, but a very cool video. They must have ramped up security that night, with all those greats on stage!

  • cool,

  • Wow. Only bad point was EC's solo. SRV should have taken one.

  • When B.B. introduce SRV and Clapton, they went back and forth. Just listen. You can even see Stevie throwing in a lick.

  • I stand corrected.
