if daniel wouldve never said anything the guy wouldve bet the turn and the river! but he was so scared! he probably thought daniel had 2 pair or trips

@plstrom I'd say he was about 60% sure, but even if he had aces, Daniel coulda gotten a Queen or a 10 to win and his call got him 2 cards for the price of one because he spooked the other guy. xD
thats not hard to read its easy to tell he has aces becasue daniel raised almost utg and mcclean re raised in a early position spot. Since daniel has a queen its either kk or aa but most likely aa since he doesn't ahve an ace and if mclean had ak he can only call pre flop since daniel raised in such a early position. Easy read daniel just trying to look cool.

I wouldn't call Daniel an expert at reading people by ONLY looking this hand, but because of the rest of the moves he makes that very same day you can be sure about his ability. His mistake in this hand was to call every bet, but I guess he was just selling some image and I bet he really made his point. So don't try to look good yourself with this comment, it just shows your ignorance.

Daniel raised from CUT-OFF position, he was near the dealer TAKE A LOOK and McClean re-raised from the small blind, that's a tipical raise from someone who is protecting his blind 'cause think the other player has air, just wanted to steal the blinds, so in that spot is very difficult to read AA...so what the hell r u talking about??
Very good read. If you asked Dan about it, I bet he would say something like this:
"Well, I felt like he was really strong, so I was thinking either QQ, KK, or AA. Since I had a queen, I figured it was one of the other 2, so I just went with AA. I got it right so I look like a genius, but it was really just an educated guess."

its pretty obvious mcclean ahs a big hand when he re pops him. Its a terrible call to call a 3 bet with queen 10 off suit. if mcclean bets there daniel calls. Hes an idiot for checking daniel did that to get a free look at the river.
Wasnt really a read, Daniel noticed he re-raised Out of position, he might think he's the tightest player at the table, when the flop come queen high for daniel - he probly thought oh yeah he must have aces sice i hit top pair. -.- (all poker players think they run bad) and jus says aces because he had top pair. so he has to have Aces here.-.-
Daniel already had played with McClean, so he knew how is playing, I guess McClean gestures betrayed him, When Daniel said he got Aces, so McClean changed his position, If McClean was betting on the fourth street, Then Daniel could only Call or Fold, But McClean would be safe, and Daniel will be guessing did he have or no? but McClean played bad at this time. I Guess, maybe I am wrong. This is my opinion.

Wasnt really a read, Daniel noticed he re-raised Out of position, he might think he's the tightest player at the table, when the flop come queen high for daniel - he probly thought oh yeah he must have aces sice i hit top pair. -.- (all poker players think they run bad) and jus says aces because he had top pair. so he has to have Aces here.-.-

Daniel already had played with McClean, so he knew how is playing, I guess McClean gestures betrayed him, When Daniel said he got Aces, so McClean changed his position, If McClean was betting on the fourth street, Then Daniel could only Call or Fold, But McClean would be safe, and Daniel will be guessing did he have or no? but McClean played bad at this time. I Guess, maybe I am wrong. This is my opinion.

@outsidepers It is possible for him not to 'realy' know the oponent had aces, but by saing so he made the oponent think that Daniel might have something better then Aces, like 3 of a kind Queens . What I said might be a answer to your question becouse Daniel said " I think you got aces" only after he saw the flop.
