I like the rubato. There is personality here. You may or may not agree with it, but something is HAPPENING. Sure beats a hear-the-bars-tick-off version, of which I think there are too many.

These kids play *very* well, but their coach should be shot! Lots of incredibly tasteless rubato that I'm sure they didn't come up with on their own, and these extended upbeats.....jeez!

Well this piece is intellectually demanding as it is technically so you can pardon them for receiving some advice here and there. I think the performance was decent and good. The teenagers sure were precocious!

I love Mendelssohn's Piano Trios!! But has anyone ever heard Fanny Mendelssohn's Piano in d minor, op. 11? I'm surprised it's so underplayed; it rivals Felix's chamber music.

superb tone, very engaging and excellent musicality - but the fluctuating tempo is rather distracting. interesting interpretation, but despite the fact you were in unison it creates a sense of artificiality to the song and disrupts the natural phrases.
