  • what kind of plugs do I need for this? I have the Logitech G51 5.1 speakers. They work fine on my Realtek onboard audio that has the 6 color jacks. The sound card has four jacks, but they do not color code with my speakers. Can someone help me?

  • Thanks for your replay ChArLiTeCh , I appreciate it. I fixed the problem a while ago, it turns out that the driver was corrupted

  • I had this card it sounded great but the drivers kept crashing on me I have Vista. My computer would also stop working if I tried to turn my computer back on after putting it in sleep mode. Creative sucks dick. they cant even help you with anything LOL. I returned it today and got my $100 back.

  • How did you disable the Onboard ?

  • I pressed F1 to enter the BIOS, then under the "Advanced" tap I scrolled down to "Onboard Audio" hit enter selected "Disabled", then I hit escape to go back to the main menu, the under the "Exit" tap I selected "Exit Saving Changes", hit enter, then again once more to confirm.

  • do you mean F1 then the pc is starting up? I think then its F2 for me but i cant se any Onboard Audio, but i can se something like intergrated audio is it maybe that i need to turn off?

  • Yes, the integrated audio is what you would turn off.

  • Thanks for your reply. Yes I did, I ended having to remove the sound card uninstall all the software (and drivers), reinstalled the sound card, software and drivers, and now everything working good. Thanks again.
