Yah, you basically don't even need to speak any specific language to watch this film. There is no talking. I had questions at the ending, but then I watched the beginning again and it basically answered my questions. Not scary at all. Not meant to be. It's just fucked to think that people actually commit such acts.

Just watched this movie. . .and believe me I've seen a lot! The autopsies were fairly realistic and the main character is a necrophiliac mortician. I made a review about it so you know what you're getting yourself into.

He may be talented and all but he uses his talent to such a pitiful purpose.

I watched this movie and it was very interesting technically, with exquisite camerawork, Mozart music and stuff, but in its essense this remains despicable trash on par with Jorg Buttgereit and Andreas Schnaas.

You may have a point but I don't think Aftermath is entertaining anyway. For my taste Peter Jackson's Bad Taste and Dead Alive are entertaining, because they are comedies but Cerda is just morbid and too damn serious just like you said. :-)

Only seen Cerda's Awakening, curious about Aftermath and Genesis. Looking at his 1st short film, I think he tries to ponder over the issue of passing on. Awakening was spritual question with death and time. Is Aftermath the physicial journey?

Se trata de un cortometraje a camino entre Road to Kill y Nekromantik, superando con creces a esta ultima, ya que al tratarse de un corto, desecha todo el material extra e innecesario que introduce el film de Buttgereit.
