  • This is awesome, Great job man!

  • @haavar90 Thank you!

  • @clackclickbang Yeah, what was the I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream? From what I could gleem that's what the theme of the game was. I could be mistaken. Plus the graphics from this new game are easier on the eyes.

  • @micahhenry Well it wasn't Lovecraft, it was a story by Harlan Ellison converted into a video game. A good video game, mind you!

  • lol great openning, grand job sir ; )

  • @TemplarsCrusade01 My thanks to you!

  • 0:45 Thats like an all caps rage in England. You should feel scolded.

  • @calistman222 Damn right you should!

  • OMG I want the Gentleman gamer to adopt me and read me bedtime stories every night and make the voices! Just not scary ones. I might get scared.

  • @calistman222 They'll all be stories by Lovecraft..

  • I hear a hint of Gorrister in the Nameless one. =-)'

    Great job sir.

Did you plan out who you rgoing to try and recruit? Not looking for a list just wondering if you gave it a thought.

    "Water cuts the rock!"

I forgot how much dialogue there was in the beginning. I really liked the fluff text inthe game.

  • @masterofflowers Tis true, alas. I was initially voicing my vampire in Bloodlines like Gorrister but restarted because it was a pain in the arse.

I've got no plan as to my party. I'll see where the game takes me. Of course, the big decision is whether to go the Vhailor or the Ignus route...

  • Ah, the sacrifices you make for your loyal viewers. Your efforts are much appreciated, as are your voice acting talents. I've been looking for a Let's Play of this game for a while, couldn't think of someone better to do it. Looking forward to following this series. Thanks.

  • @ranangel9607 Thank you for watching, and I do hope you keep doing so!

  • Good voice acting. I like unraveling this character's forgotten history.

  • @mollytherealdeal And it is a long and convoluted history... I hope you have a lot of patience!

  • You are the best Gentleman Gamer!

  • @TheSpaceMushroom The best at what? That is the question!

  • @clackclickbang The best at being the best and nothing more.

  • @TheSpaceMushroom Why thank you!

  • Wohoo! I'm glad I'm back! You and your LPs kick ass!

  • @Carch0Is0The0Man Thanks for saying so! Very kind of you.

  • @clackclickbang *Shrugs* I'm just stating a fact, man. :P Keep it up!

  • @Carch0Is0The0Man It's something I excel at!

  • @clackclickbang Indeed! :3

  • Really good voice acting!!

  • @MyEunah Thank you! Very kind.

  • We are not worthy of your magnificence!

Is that the voice of Batman?

  • @tetsubo57 It's vaguely similar isn't it? The goddamn Batman.

  • Never mind, the problem was on my side.

I really liked your voice acting of Dhall.

  • @GAWproductions Yay!

  • Much better. I love the voice acting too!

I can't help but feel that the resolution has lowered though. I'm having a harder time reading the text...

  • @GAWproductions Damn!

  • undead now these are my kind of people, why i know a few zombies back in racoon city who would absolutely love this place

  • @leon3129 If they had the capacity to love... poor souls.

  • This has been quite entertaining thus far. But you should just have let the eight vidoes go. And fixed it afterwards. A little too much to ask for. Am sure if they knew how many you had pre-recorded well...they would have waited until you posted all the ones you had made up to that point.

  • @Chiqidico Nope, it's no big deal at all. I don't really mind re-recording, even if I say I do.

  • Nice, much better audio than the last video. Also your solid snake/nameless one voice is awesome

  • @o1sin182 Thank you!

  • I'm enjoying this. I like the voice for the Dustman Dhall. Good of you to point out the use of descriptions, like those for the corpses. I really don't like The Dead. They're so confused.

  • @23penguins32 There's a funny bit of Buddhism to the Dustmen. The idea that life is a cycle that one is trapped in until the eventual release into nirvana. Well, in the case of the Dustmen it's True Death, so I suppose the Godsmen are a bit closer.

  • @clackclickbang I here was Ildharin. I shouldn't start blurring those lines :) I do actually like the Godsmen as a faction. I'm trying not to read very much at all about background, factions, setting due to Ildharin not knowing most of it at all. I stumbled across an article about the Godsmen a few weeks ago.

  • @23penguins32 I will try to introduce more and more factions as the game goes on. Hopefully tomorrow we'll get to meet some of the members of the Athar! Or the Lost, as they're known...

  • @clackclickbang Not sure why I'm(Ildharin) not looking forward to meeting the members of the Athar in Sigil ? For some reason unknown I've a foreboding on this one ? We'll see. I actually see the Athar as more Buddhist than the others. I definitely like that faction.

  • @23penguins32 The Athar could be seen alternately as either bitter and disenchanted priests or truly enlightened clerics who have thrown off their idolatry in service of a higher truth - those types are often quietly positive, almost constantly. Not that all Athar are ex-clergymen of course, but you can see how someone who feels betrayed by their faith may join their faction.

  • @clackclickbang Yes, certainly can see the religiously betrayed joining the Athar. I (and/or Ildharin) take the faction as your second example. I don't even necessarily think they have be priests, just enlightened souls that are searching for the great mystery behind the veil. That the so-called 'gods' or powers have little to do with the mystery is down to they don't know the answer(s) either and obviously are just using their positions for the power it conveys them.

  • @23penguins32 Would you say that Ildharin has ever visited the Shattered Temple, or was he introduced to the faction through let's say, a factor on a pilgrimage through Limbo?

  • @clackclickbang I've still not sent you the background. Sorry about that. What a lout I am. Yes I think it's an introduction of sorts, in a positive way, on a journey within Limbo itself. I don't think he would have gone directly to the temple on his arrival in Sigil. He was not there long before departing to the Outlands. I also think the Citadel of Zaethir would have aligned itself monastically with the Athar, as the teachings of The Mystery are much inline with the beliefs of the Athar.

  • @23penguins32 The Citadel clearly does not fear the powers of Limbo, or perhaps they are nominally aligned with the Athar rather than out-and-out vocally supportive of them. Either way, it's an interesting idea... Not to say that the Athar are a political group by any means; a faction is far more a collection of like-minded philosophers with clubs than a political party.

  • @clackclickbang It is certainly an island in the chaotic sea of Limbo. It could simply be the high ups at the Citadel are members of the Athar. It would certainly not have to be known outside and/or is only known by members of the Citadel and some members of the Athar.

  • @23penguins32 Well I do hope you found the Athar in last night's game to be... agreeable.

  • @clackclickbang Agreeable ? That would be an understated way of putting it. Brilliant would be more to the point. Yeah, very rewarding. The depth was well-appreciated.

  • @23penguins32 The accent of Factol Terrance was perhaps better conveyed than the accent of Goldenmane the Bariaur.

  • @clackclickbang Maybe, but with the Factol the moon hit not my eye.

  • @23penguins32 But he did pour a fine pint of Guinness.

  • @clackclickbang Si, scuzza mi. No greater talent does exist. Truly

  • @23penguins32 You'll have to try Goldenmane's bolognese.

  • @clackclickbang Just had a funny thought...does Goldenmane call the Dustmen Carbonari ? :D I'm more of a massively garlic alfredo man, myself, but I do enjoy marinara as well (because it's meatless too).

Oh mio rimorso, Mi missa de baconi :)

  • @23penguins32 He does indeed, and the Doomguard are all Putanesca. Ah, but I get ahead of myself... You've not met the Doomguard yet.

  • @clackclickbang Maybe there will have to be an extra 'n' inserted in the Doomguard slang...

  • @23penguins32 I found the Doomguard quite poetic.

  • @clackclickbang That was good. Confused philosophy, but very good. Reminded me afterwards of Tolkien's imagery of the giant tsunami wave. Very nice.

  • Oh YEAH! I LIKE this one. Keep them coming. It must be the fantasy setting that I like better than the underwater sci-fi and the cthulhu games.

  • @micahhenry Have I played a Cthulhu game...? I may have. It's been so long...

  • Audio is much better!! This is shaping up to be a very good "Lets Play"

  • @marvelona Hurrah!
