  • War gives the right of the conquerors to impose any conditions they please upon the vanquished

  • This issue its too easy 2 resolve, 2 islands, 2 countries, 1 for argentina, 1 for Uk, Done, we dont need war to understand us,, if theres no countries, theres no wars, we are all brothers, why u cant even saw it?

  • @yamipablo

I get into fights with my brother.

  • its looking bleak for the brits here, even america, their strogest ally, strongly disagree. who else do they have as an ally? australia and canada lol. ahhhhh colonialism

  • @thesoapbox7 You only disagree because you have Obama in power. Once he leaves and takes with him his anti british reteric, you Americans will once again support us. Lets face it son, you owe us. We have been fighting two wars for the past 10 years, simply to support your measely asses!!!!

  • You can't have the Falklands but you can keep Tevez !

  • People of Argentina slap that daft bitch that you have as president, the Falkland's were never yours and never will be, do we really need to have another conflict? the smart one's would say no as you probabally already know that Britain has a far better armed forces set up than you guys could ever hope for, Im not trying to put you guys down it's just the way it is! We had the Falklands a long time before your land existed as Argentina so you must know that your claim is worthless.

  • Go British People, defend Falklands. Saudations from Brazil!

  • @dfklhhhfrnvnrtvjn Fuck you banana.

  • @dsimonovitch Pode ficar do lado de quem tomou a Cisplatina de nós, é um direito seu, não me prolongarei na conversa, é a tua opinião, que posso fazer, defendo a minha opinião e pronto.

  • LONDON, 1982.

Defense Minister Terrence Lewin: "Gee, it sure is BORING around here..."

Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher: "My lad, this peace is what all British STRIVE FOR!"

Lewin: "I just wonder what ARGENTINA is up to"

United States Secretary of State Alexander Haig: "Your MAJESTY. General Galtieri and his minions have SEIZED THE FALKLANDS ISLANDS".

    Thatcher: "Hmmm...How can WE help?"

Haig: "It is written that only THE BRITISH MILITARY can defeat ARGENTINA"

Lewin: "GREAT! I'll grab my stuff!"

  • come on you fucking tinians that bitch wants you to die at the end of a Brit bullet ,,, come you fuckers start something you leftist bitch

  • lol, you are argentinians are all retards.....

you just want the place coz of the resources...we have had the place for over 200 years, we found the place through sailing. you guys never knew of the place before. plus it was in no-mans land. so lets say 100 miles off the coast of argentinia....so it does not belong to argentina...get it in ur hear....UMADBRO?

  • @james123378

As per public statistics the main crime in the island is the sexual abusement of minors. Shit islanders that need to be protected by a country far away.

  • @james123378 - in 1982 the args could mount a large air-navy-ground operation and retake the islands. But i read that now in 2012, their military is wasted away after years of underfunding and neglect...

they'd have to ask the brits for assistance invading the Falklands LOL

  • when the argies invaded the locals didnt want it, they made it known, now the argies agian claim that the locals want to be with them, even when they have voted for the last 20 years to remain with us, now the locals have guns and a British defence force, lets see the argies say there liberating the Island when the locals fire on them and not just the troops.

  • is not your land hahahahahahahahahhaah cmon chaves give us the queen's head fuck the mason's

  • @TheARMAProductions we had 22 marines who destroyed a chopper impaired a battleship and killed so many argentines that there government wont tell us how many. on the island we now have over 1000

  • @darkslyk well first of all you can own guns you just need a license which is good because unlike america people dont go killing eachother as much. and us british are proud to be part of great britain yes GREAT...

  • I think im right in saying the Britain may seem small but we sure kick ass at war and even from the other side of the world.

And for most haters around a 1/3rd of the world to belong to the British empire more than you all ever have.

  • @Pro13east lol what a joke, 1/3 of the the world you claimed were inhabited by spear throwers fuck off you english bastard.

  • @thesoapbox7 Ha is that why we owned Canada Australia new Zealand East coast of america Ireland India and about half of Africa

cool story bro how big was your empire ????.

  • @thesoapbox7 Also what says im English what because im British i must be English ha grow up son there are other countrys in the UK you know

  • @thesoapbox7 And today the US boasts THE HIGHEST DEBT ON EARTH, the fastest growing debt on earth, THE HIGHEST PRISON POPULATION on earth, the HIGHEST CRIME & MURDER rates ON EARTH.Not to mention the HIGHEST illegal drug use on the planet....So do not threaten us.What people you do have not locked up are evidently on drugs or just criminals at large. And of course the US lost its AAA credit rating for the first time in its history. And you threaten th UK? HA HA HA HA HA.

  • @bannon1000

"HE HIGHEST DEBT ON EARTH, the fastest growing debt on earth"

Also the largest GDP and one of the fastest growing GDPs.

  • @toothyp1cks At the time your own Government said that you had no chance of winning in Vietnam, your OWN DEFENCE Secretary said that even your SPECIAL FORCES were inadequate.Your Secretary of State wrote how you stood NO CHANCE. So do not lie, year after year after year....you fought the Vietnese people and LOST.

  • @bannon1000

Highest and fastest growing debt doesn't mean anything when you've got the largest and one of the fastest growing GDPs. Yes, big nation spend more and have more debt. But they also receive more in taxes and etc. Why don't we look at national debt as a percentage of GDP, in which case the USA is 13th.

    13th.

So, you're wrong when it comes to debt - that's a fact. The Vietnam war is subjective.

  • @toothyp1cks LIAR.The World Bank & IMF and credit ratings agencies have for the FIRST time in US history downgraded the US AAA rating.GONE. Your GDP and income IS NO WHERE NEAR....NO WHERE NEAR....The scale & rapidity of your mounting debt. You even had NO money to pay just the BILLIONS in interest on your debt and simply printed the money as you had none.LIAR.Your GDP is growing far SLOWER than China, India, to name just two.The US debt growing at a rate FAR higher than its income

  • @bannon1000

The U.S.'s GDP is over double that of China's at 14.5 trillion dollars (China at just under 6 trillion) (source is Wikipedia list of countries by GDP) so no, I'm not a liar. If you look at the GDP growth and debt growth you'll see that the percentage difference remains fairly constant (google [US Federal Outlay and GDP linear graph.png] for figures). The debt is well under the GDP. Furthermore, the U.S. economy is stabilizing. The Chinese economy is very fragile.

  • @toothyp1cks You keep telling yourself that!!. Chinese economy is growing far quicker than the US. Within 10 years the Chinese economy will be as large, if not larger than the US.

  • @snitch5000

Possibly, if the country doesn't revolt, if their civil project bubble doesn't burst, if the world economy doesn't tank, if the Iran war doesn't wreck their shit overseas and it any number of other things don't happen. The U.S. economy is getting stronger (not bigger, though it's doing that too) every day, but the Chinese one remains weak. The governments is building entire cities that nobody lives in just to keep people employed.

  • @snitch China's issue is her tiny consumer class. It's all well and good having a large manufacturing economy but if 85% of your income relies on the Western consumer then you can be crushed within a heart beat just by canx trade. China's consumer class is around 50 million. You can't sell ipods to peasents earning $5 per day. This is why there's a big risk of the people revolting like toothyp1cks sais. China has had over 1000 mass protests within the last year. Most Chinese are poor

  • Also, for interest's sake, Qatar's GDP is growing at twice the speed of China's. Does that make Qatar the healthiest economy in the world?

(source is Wikipedia list of countries by real GDP increase rate)

  • @bannon1000

Source for figures is the Wikipedia list of countries by national debt, by the way.

  • "YOU ARE PIRATE !♪♪"

  • @krackersdave I'd prefer to die as a rebeld than live as a slave. @TaffTalk probably you don't even understand a word of spanish. And this is for the brithish to know the Malvinas war (pirates call them Falkland war) are not the worst thing you ever done to us (south america).

  • @martinsiro

Venezuela's President Chavez stated that "the european conquerors of south america behaved worse than Hitler. Spain spearheaded the biggest invasion and genocide ever seen in the history of humanity, and Spanish conquistadors had massacred south america’s Indians at a rate of "one every 10 minutes."

And this genocidal campaign was continued by argentine Rosa’s 1870's invasion and “conquest of desert”

The worst things ever done to south america were by your ancestors.

  • We aLso CLiam sovvirenty OFER ireLAND ~Argintina~

  • @darkslyk We don't have guns because we don't need guns. We have "armed police" they deal with "armed criminals". why shoot someone that doesn't pose a threat to your life? America is seriously fucked up, you treat your presidential election like a fucking Brittany Spears concert. We are fighting a fucking war for you, and our politicians are pussies? Britain is the most free nation on the planet, hence why the mussies can protest their racist bullshit. You are a total mong, Typical American.

  • @England4eva89 fuck you. your country is only know for harry potter, fucked up teeth and harry potter. Its sad really, once a powerful country, now, just a scrub little island struggling to get by doing whatever america tells them . even your fellow europeans hates you, without us your country would have been blown to oblivion already.

  • @thesoapbox7 No offence, but you are American, you have no right to talk about any other country than the USA. You probably have very little knowledge of other countries like most Americans, the fact you brought up Harry Potter in an argument says it all really... Not really sure how we would be "blown to oblivion" without Americas help?? But seeing as you say it's like that we will just have to take that as historical fact seeing as you guys have such a fine grasp on history. Your'e a moron.

  • @thesoapbox7 fook you dick head half of yor greedy fookin country is in deep shit no health care living in storm drains or there cars while rich powerful kikes lord it over you......now go watch the dukes over hazard you fat yank dickhead most of you lot are fat as fook as well ive been there an seen it.. whole fookin familys of lard arsess now fook off yer fat TWAT

I shall lets look at america.

Fat usless friendly fire hillbillie cousin/sister fucking racist uslless mother fuckers.

    Owned

  • @thesoapbox7 We might be a scrubby little island, but you fuckers still couldnt beat us in war after we had to travel 8,000 miles, and you was only 300 miles from the Argentine mainland. Doesn't say much for Argentina, does it!!!

  • @darkslyk There are 12 million crimes recorded in the US every year, NO other nation on earth records over 6 million, There are over 100,000 rapes in the US every year the highest of any nation in the United Nations, every year one in 5 people are a victim of crime in the US....No other nation on earth records more....And these figures are what your OWN Government says....It could b even higher. So before you call the UK....LOOK IN THE MIRROR.

  • @darkslyk And look what your OWN military chiefs said this week. Every 6 hours & 40 minutes a US soldier committed a violent sex crime, and child abuse by the military rose by 43%....So you think we'll take lectures from you child abusing sex maniacs.NO WONDER YOU HAVE THE worlds highest prison population....ANIMALS.

  • @darkslyk Says a Yank whose great nation the US has THE WORLDS HIGHEST DEBT, THE WORLDS HIGHEST prison population,WORLDS HIGHEST illegal drug use and the whose murder rate in just one state like California is HIGHER than the whole of the UK. The great US that has lost for the first time in its history its AAA credit rating and has RECORD homelessness & unemployment and a deficit rising at over $1 million a second .So we'll pass on lectures from you.

  • @bannon1000 true that. and britain stood by americas side through some bloody wars in the east but america wont even give political support on the new fawkland arguments. Obama needs to think about his allies and friends and not the next election

  • @bannon1000 fuck off asshole your lucky you lots are our bitch because if you werent we would have blown your miserable little island a long time ago, keep sucking that all american grade a beef....................oh and GOD SHAVE THE QUEEN.

  • @thesoapbox7 9/11...LOL

  • @thesoapbox7 9/11...LOL

  • @thesoapbox7 Blown us up? ha ha ha ha. Listen you fought the tiny, poverty stricken nation of Vietnam, even used chemical weapons against its children & after years of fighting went home defeated and nursing a $100 billion deficit. Vietnam HAD NO AIR CRAFT CARRIERS, SUBS, or even bombers, you out numbered them in air craft over 200 to 1, ships over 20 to 1 AND STILL LOST. Today you fly your most advanced drone over Iran and they take it down and show it to the Russians & Chinese.

  • @bannon1000

    We "lost" Vietnam?

    Oh.

Here I was thinking we bombed the shit out of them, WRECKED their country, drove their economy into the GROUND, occupied their land, massacred their soldiers and forced them to HIDE IN TUNNELS LIKE RATS, and then withdrew because of a lack of public support.

We didn't lose Vietnam. We just didn't stay long enough or fight hard enough to win.

The NVA won, but we didn't "lose".

  • @toothyp1cks No you lost Vietnam, and went home defeated nursing a $100 BILLION deficit. The world saw you fight a tiny, impoverished farming country that you out numbered many times over in military hardware AND LOOSE....The world watched YOU LOOSE.That is a FACT.The US GDP growth is far , far slower than India's & China's growing GDP. The US STILL HAS...TODAY the HIGHEST & FASTEST ROWING DEBT ON EARTH....That too is FACT.

  • @bannon1000

Again, we didn't "lose" Vietnam. The NVA won, but we didn't lose. This isn't Call of Duty, kid. There's more to it than WIN and LOSE. The US military accomplished a lot of its objectives in Vietnam, and did so without fully deploying itself. If we wanted, we could have just carpet-bombed the whole place into the stone age, but we didn't. We restrained ourselves, and still had success. Was it total success? No. But it wasn't defeat.

    More to follow.

  • The British Commonwealth is comprised of 26 nations including Canada and Austrailia. Don't mess with us. The USA can be a honourary member if it wants though. Smile.

  • @TheARMAProductions And let the Amero-Anglo alliance continue! We kick fuck people up. Argentina and Iraq learned the hard way.

  • @TheARMAProductions Mr. Chavez, has made remarks along the lines that, if Britain were too send a Naval Task Force, to the South Atlantic to defend, its colony, Mr. Chavez, has or would like the South American nations, to gather together a combined " flotilla " and sail out into the North Atlantic, and STOP the RN Task Force, in the Mid-Atlantic, with this flotilla of frigates, and destroyers, there by regaining the Falklands Islands, for the Rep. of Argentina. We were like how interesting !!!

  • @MrJeffreydunson Hahaha! Maybe their new BFF Iran will help too. These South American nations need to get a grip on reality. If they try a 'flotilla', we'll bomb the shit out of it before it leaves the harbor. As usual, Chavez makes Venezuela even more hate worthy than it already is.

  • @TheARMAProductions In that case, how's about a Carrier, and a Submarine -- Virginia Class !!! We know early on that Chevaz, was planning on getting half, if not all of the Latin countries to go along with his " Anti-British " campaign regarding the Falklands, and of course... hatred of the US. Now there few hold-outs in Latin America, in regards to his plans. cheers

  • @TheARMAProductions If need some more bombs (clusters), please just call your brother-in-arms, this time, its going to be different !!!

  • what do you call a argentine soldier still on the islands?

    peat!

  • @kingbleah actully cracked up on that one XD

  • Lucky Britain still had some navy at that point in time.

  • UK attacked by a member of NATO I cant understand how a Nazi murderer loving country could be in Nato and be supplied by the most advanced ship killing missiles.

  • @FunnyVideoCollector UK has never been attacked by a member of NATO??

  • Why does Argentina even try to argue with us, they didn't get thr Falkland's by force and they will not get them by being 'diplomatic'.

The fact is they were, are and always will be British!!!

    RULE BRITANNIA!!!

  • English are fat and ugly people invading Spanish beaches and drinking every summer. Their wives looking for spanish "machos"

  • @cocotena Spain is glad of our holiday makers money...Because Spain the shit hole has the HIGHEST UNEMPLOYMENT of the WHOLE OF EUROPE....it has THE SEVEREST AUSTERITY MEASURES outside Greece....it has the MOST BANKS in the EU that have the HIGHEST RISK attached to them....it may need a bail out....AND ITS INTERNATIONAL CREDIT RATING is downgraded to that of some THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES....Do not make me laugh....highest unemployment of the WESTERN WORLD....FACT

  • @cocotena work for the unemployed machos? nice people the English

  • One pilot who sunk an English ship was born in Spain. They called him "vasco" which means "basque". We are always with our american brothers.

Fucking English Pirates, always against our empire

  • @ronnie12398 your an ignorant dickhead, while america sadly failed to carry out their intentions in Vietnam, at the very same time Britain won an anti-communist war in malaysia. that was the S.A.S my american buddy. we invented hearts and minds in that very same conflict, we were there to help, and did just that, and to this day they fuckin love us for it. Vietnam was a man's job, America sent a load of kids who didnt know who or what they were fighting for, and the rest is history.

  • @Arminevh bannon mate stop arguing with Arminevh, its pointless, anyone reading this can tell he doesnt know jackshit about his own history, which is a shame. by reading his comments he seems to be either making it up as he goes along or the propeganda in Argentina is quite strong indeed, as i said a complete waste of your. time

  • @sandrodream1 sandro your mixing different countries histories together here mate, go back to school and stop talking bullshit

  • The Falklands are BRITISH and are inhabited by BRITISH people who wish to remain under BRITISH jurisdiction - what dont the Argies understand?

  • The american government said that the UK taking back the islands was a "naval impossibility" they dont realise that bitain may look weak but we are not we are stong and the main thing is we are adaptable i mean we fought a war on the other side of the wold against an enemy fighting on their doorstep i think the ion lady is what britain needs today she has more balls than cameron ever will

  • @777fatboyslim Then when the Americans notice a task force including aircraft carriers was on the way, they changed their mind and back the UK !

  • @777fatboyslim Considering where the American government's sympathies truly laid, not just in the Falkands, but in the Suez Canal years before, it might be high time England prepared for war against its treasonous former colonies.

  • @williamskidfears It's Britain man stop saying England lol but you might be right. Think we need to prepare for war regardless I can see this century turning ugly.

  • @England4eva89 Bang on mate - we spend 400bln pounds on Welfare and 30bln on defense... Imagine if we went to a war footing and swapped those figures around. Thats 640bln dollars on weapons.. Thats the same the US spends - we could have armed forces to match the US, tank for tank, fighter for fighter, nuke for nuke and carrier for carrier... Argentina had better not fucking piss us off....

  • @777fatboyslim Please tell me, was Mrs Thatcher a positive or negatively charged ion?

  • @777fatboyslim WITH HELP FROM USA AND CHILE IT WAS EASY FOR YOU MURDERS, MALVINAS BELONG TO ARGENTINA AND I AM NOT ARGENTINIAN.

  • @gymjustin1 HMS DAUNTLESS....SHE SAY ....NO.....

  • @gymjustin1 kinda would have been anyway we sunk one of their ships and you send them back to the port. all their ships are from ww2 not even joking some are old british ships

  • if we can win wars that quickly why dont we take over the world? start with small countrys and lead upto bigger ones, we should invade russia america and china. lets do it!

  • It is a pity British have ceased to develop the new. These fighting vehicles have punished argentineans for Falkland Islands. Argentineans will remember already that happens for infringement of the international laws

  • The point is the Isands have never been in control of Argentina. In 1982 the UN Security council told them to get off the islands and they didn't. As Bomber Harris once said, 'now they are going to reap the whirlwind'. The Argentinans got exactly what they deserve. Lately all I have heard is about the General Belgrano. I'm sick of hearing about it. The ship was heading to the Falklands it was sunk to stop it. No one says anything about HMS Exeter, RFA Sir Galahad, the men burned to death...

  • @melina001a what? I think you got the wrong person.. and the Belgrano was heading for one of our carriers (invincible i think), so it was destroyed.

  • @Pringles352 with the anniversary coming up all you get from Argentina is retoric and BS at the moment, lots about who 'brave' their soldiers where trying to take the islands back and how they should be under argentine rule, President Cristina Kirchner has vowed to "reclaim" the Falkland Islands after Prime Minister David Cameron said sovereignty "not negotiable". Every so often we get this crap about the Belgrano as well. It was heading toward the carrier group and was sunk the end.

  • @melina001a Who cares whether it was attacked because it was heading for the task group. For all I care it was heading back to port, the fact is it was a naval hazard for the Royal Navy and the UK alike and so we destroyed it- lets remember we were at war with Argentina. I agree!!!

  • the falkland islanders like us are an island race, they maybe few in numbers but they have the right to choose their alligience and live in peace, it is the duty of our people and nation to protect their right, only one thing makes war justified and lawful, when its a struggle against force for peoples laws, their language and way of life, everything that makes them what they are against a brutal effort to impose on them laws and life which is not theirs and they do not want.

  • @111jasy111 There's no evidence that was ever the case... might as well say the martians were there first...

  • @111jasy111 It's irrelevant what you think - they were the ones that had to fight the cold war - they had to make the hard choices...not you.

  • Comment removed

  • @111jasy111 Well none of these so called 'natives' would have had anything to do with concepts like 'Brazil' or 'Argentina'. Just about everywhere had someone else there before anyway, it's certainly none of Argentina's business. Why don't you go tell the Turks to give back Constantinople.

  • @111jasy111 TODAY.....2011 your moral country allows 400+ children to die of starvation each year....6 from one village alone and over 200 children from one region alone whilst spending millions on free tv for all. According to UNICEF you have 150,000 children living on the streets addicted to PACO.....So you prefer to pay for free TV for all whilst hundreds of children die all over your country....thats TODAY.....There is something fundamentally wrong with you people to find this acceptable.

  • @111jasy111 You appear to be acting all high and moral. Can i just remind you that in 1982 according to the UN & Human Right watch your country killed, tortured & kidnapped around 30,000 of its own people. In the war of 1982 you tortured your own troops. People recently on trial for stealing 500 babies from their OWN mothers.Where all this morality comes from escapes me. You oppressed & killed your own people , stole babies & tortured your own troops under 30 years ago.

  • Argentina want a peaceful resolution to the Islands as Argentina is too weak and poor to stand up to such a powerful nation as Britain. Imagine the havoc the Royal Navy would cause to an Argentinian invasion today. Whilst we dont have any operational aircraft carriers, we have air to air refuelling and equipment that Argentina can only dream of getting. I point to the Astute class submarine and the Eurofighter Typhoon. Dont try and take on a major power, with 11 nuclear submarines....... again.

  • Comment removed

  • @Pringles352 We only have 1 Astute Class at the moment though but even the Trafalgar Class are better than anyother sub in the world. I lmao at Argentina's navy... it was weak in 1982 and it has somehow got even weaker.... lol

  • To the Argentinian people, and more specificically, to President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner; what any sensible, decent person would condemn is an invasion of foreign territory through aggressive means, not military training excercises that are there to help protect the innocent British people living on our islands, and who want to remain British, and who never want to see an Argentinian soldier on British territiory. The Falklands are British and will remain British

  • @111jasy111 No, you mean given to Brazil. As your own comment makes clear Brazil never had a prior ownership, so it is pretty stupid to say 'given back'. You really are clueless if you think the UK would just abandon British people who want nothing to do with Argentina - or that that would ever be an acceptable action.

  • @111jasy111 well,as those islands had NO population, who wish to remain British, unlike the Falklands, and as the Falklands have never been anything other than British, your argument is no stronger than any other extremely weak claim, that any Argentine has ever put forward.A lot of research done there my friend, totally wasted i'm afraid...

  • Meanwhile, as armitroll sprays a new new piece of irrelevant spam over youtube, the British flag flies proudly over the British Falklands.

  • The effect of the Falklands on the Cold War is often overlooked. The fact that the UK had the will, and ability to project force that far, over a principle, and that the US, eventaully backed us to the hilt, convinced the Soviets that any attack on western Europe would be met with full force. Before '82, in the wake of tossers like Carter and Callaghan that was not so certain.

  • 51st state my arse, america begs us to hold their hand in these two past wars.

  • @raz260696 Spot on. We bend the knee to no one. As Argentina found out in 1982, the extent of British 'decline' has been greatly exaggerated. I understand that the humiliation of that defeat must hurt but Argentina will gain nothing by raising this issue now. The Falklands are, and will remain, British sovereign territory so long as the islanders want to be British subjects. That is really all there is to it.

  • WE KICKED ARSE...

    RULE BRITANNIA

  • Shame the UK didn't starve the parrot troll's parents to death - save him boring us to death.

  • Oh shut up darksamari bleating like a demented sheep

  • They want the Falkland isles because oil was been discovered there in 2010. Funny how Argentina didn't give a shit about the isle's until oil was found there.

  • Obvious case of self defence against aggression - Britain was 110% right to evict the illegal occupation of Sovereign British territory by a facsist dictatorship.

  • And the Empire won! MUAHAHAHH MUHAHHAAHA MUHAHAHHAA! LOL!

  • rule britannia!

  • @ZZZZRRRRZRR

    Please tell me

    a) In what way did Argentina win?

    b) In what way does Argentina have a superior military?

  • @Myles0Harcourt Britain won in 1980s... but it wont win eventually. As you know, even Iran is capable of takin Royal Navy men prisoners... British decline is terminal and irreversible...

  • @Mrparrot73

One incident with Iran does not constitute aterminal decline. They even took Americans prisoner in the seventies.

  • @Myles0Harcourt Live in denial... dude. British decline is terminal ...and accepted as commonly known fact the world over. Take Britain 1945. Take Britain 2011 and compare. Britain 2011 is a fraction...a pale shadow of Britain 1945. This is the DEFINITION of decline... not my opinion. From major empire that ruled the waves to tiny island with no aircraft carriers, often characterised as Americas poodle. If you still cant see why someone would call it decline, I cant help you...

  • @Mrparrot73

We're still stronger than you are. In a few years we will have the largest ships built in the history of the Royal Navy. Bigger even than the battleships like KG5 and Dreadnought. We have the most advanced destroyers in the world (The Daring Class) some of the most advances submarines (Astute Class) and some of the most advanced fighter jets (Typhoons). We also have a military budget greater than that of South America.

  • @Myles0Harcourt Dude ...you cant seriously look to the FUTURE if you want to boast about British power vs India. The future! Come on...you cant be that stupid. You need to look in the opposite direction, dude!

In all seriousness, what exactly planted in your head the idea that Britain will become more and more powerful in the years to come vs India??? Do you live under a rock? have you ever read a newspaper?

Btw...Saudi and Canada spend more on military than Israel.

  • @Mrparrot73

    Excuse me-

When did I ever mention Israel, Saudi Arabia, Canada or India?

  • @Myles0Harcourt - he's not argentine - he's an indian troll who escaped to the west and spends all his time posting irrelevant and deluded crap about india.

  • @EddieExile

    I see.

  • @Myles0Harcourt Is it necessary to be from Arentina to oppose British imperialism? Yes, I know Britain is the most powerful nation in the world (like all you Brits believe) but that does not mean you should oppress others. Its immoral. Please...please... only the supremely powerful British, rulers of the whole world, can afford to be so merciful as to let other nations like USA, Russia, China, India, France, Japan, etc... to exist on the same earth as them...

  • @Mrparrot73 You only speak our great language, and so, yes, we are the greatest nation.

  • @Mrparrot73 We might not be the most powerful nation in the world any more - but has the 20th and 21st century so far has shown - we always try to do the right and moral thing. And the falklanders retaining self determination is absolutely the right and moral thing.

  • @manchesterfellow Britain does what is moral? Come on...thats what you learned from the 20th century? Seriously: from the Amritsar massacre in 1919 to Churchill who starved 3 million Indians deliberately to death in 1943 to Thatcher and her love of apartheid in the 80s, how could you seriously be delusional enuf to think Britain always does what is moral?

  • @Mrparrot73 So the best you can do is scrat around in very old history 1919? or LIE about Thatcher. She NEVER once said she supported an apartheid she said isolation & sanctions would only increase it & make South Africa more insular. And time showed she was right. After all it was her approach that brought democracy to South Africa. So desperate, laughable lies and history searching is not cutting it here. Lets look under 30 years ago at Argentina's torturing of ITS OWN TROOPS IN THE FALKLANDS

  • @Mrparrot73 Whilst you look at morality perhaps you can tell us how? it is moral TODAY.Not 1919 BUT TODAY for Argentina to pour millions into Free TV for all whilst 400+ children die each year of starvation over 400 families have to watch their children DIE from hunger & why they allow (according to UNICEF) 150,000 children TO LIVE ON THE STREETS MANY ADDICTED TO "PACO".Thats not 1919 but TODAY.FREE TV for all whilst HUNDREDS OF BABIES & CHILDREN STARVE TO DEATH. Where is the morality here?

  • @Mrparrot73 Sorry what? Thatcher loved the Apartied? What version of history do you read? watch?v=L6rwbm27qYI

    Some education for you.

  • @manchesterfellow Thatcher administration was practically the only nation that did not boycott South Africa.

  • @Mrparrot73 It was the cold war and the ANC was openly funded by the Soviets, both the UK AND the USA attempted to maintain the SA status quo and did France (for arms sales). SA was a vital balwark against communist expansion on that continent.

Needs must as the devil drives.

  • @Mrparrot73 And another thing, If you think that Britain will ever fall to a level where she can't defend her intrests ou are very sorely mistaken - the British people won't allow it. All blue water Navys are in decline (there are only three). Most tNato counties are reducin their expendititure on defense - the only reason you hear so much about British decline is because of the outrage it causes in Britain.

Also, saying that you are waiting for UK to become weaker before you strike is cowardly

  • @manchesterfellow I think Britain is barely in position to make its choices and decisions. Its called Americas 51st state for a reason. The only issue is how America feels about the Falklands. You pet poodles will have to abide by their decision.

Come on, dont be a fool...dont flatter yourself by speakin as if you are an independent power.

  • @Mrparrot73 LOL@51ST State. The mainstream media really works. The US is a British Corporation. However it may appear, just remember, it IS just that.......an appearance. Those who think they are man enough to stop the British Agenda should step up or shut up!

  • @Mrparrot73 And if we look at today the UK remains the 4th largest defence spender on the planet spending more than ALL the countries of South America & the Carribean put together. The UK remains the 5th wealthiest nation on the planet, still has the highest direct foreign investment of any EU nation and continues to have THE top credit rating and has 6 new Destroyers and 7 new submarines entering service, new tankersto name but a few...Not bad for a small island eh?.....

  • @bannon1000 the fact is the uk is the centre of the commonwealth, one of the 5 permanent un members, one of the pinnacle members of the EU, a major member of nato, usa's biggest ally and we still cba

  • @Myles0Harcourt He's also insane.

  • @EddieExile

    So I see.

  • @EddieExile Eddie my old friend! how are you dude? I have seen the truth now, my friend. I now admit that the British Empire is alive and Britain is the No. 1 superpower in the world.

  • At this distance in time it seems rather fanciful that Argentina could have hoped to defeat Britain in a military conflict. They obviously hoped that Britain would accept occupation as a fait accompli - a major miscalculation as it turned out. And a note on language and terminology: we won't be giving the Falklands 'back' to anyone because they did not and have not belonged to any other country except for Great Britain, and that is not going to change.
